Well yes, both of those too - though i personally prefer the UAC5/UAC10 mix to 4UAC10s on a dire, because it runs so much cooler (and will allow tonnage on the KDK for a big TC to improve projectile speed, at the cost of 1 extra UAC5 on the Dire build)

Damn, i wish i could petition PGI to sell me another pack of 3 more KDK-3s, i hate rebuilding mechs all the time.

Id still have 2+ minute save times...

Also, saved loadouts is a minefield, because you have to make sure that you have sufficient weapons/modules/cash (for ES/FF swapping) around at all times to select any of the loadouts. I see why we don't have it.. PGI arent about to make equipment cost nothing.

edit: sure its possible to implement, but tricky.

- You/we know the hardpoint locations
- You/we know the model
- You/we know some special game mechanics involved (Clan Battlemechs, MASC, etc)

If you will be disappointed, the error will be yours and yours alone.

Yeah, this. Instead, they're giving us an extra KDK1, which is worthless, as its just a straight laser vom build.

The SB and KDK3 desperately needs multiples, especially the KDK3. 2xGauss+2xLPL vom is a very powerful build, along with 4x cUAC10 and 4xcUAC5s+laser vom. That's 3 builds there!

I'd rank the chassis like this:
1) KDK-3 - many viable builds thanks to the 4x ballistics
2) SB - MASC!
3) KDK-1 - Base laser vom on the base package
4) KDK-4 - For the 2x ballistics, but starving on laser hp, and gotta fork out money for it.
5) KDK-2 - Would be the worst, but for JJs
6) KDK-5 - Like KDK 1, with more hardpoints (which you'll never use), but you gotta fork out more $, which makes it worse.

Doesn't look like it on... what I assume is... the KDK-1? It looks like it's in the lower slot.

Man. The 3D model has put me off a tad. The height of the shoulder pads and head just seem a little nkr compared to the artwork.

This thing looks like much lulz, but what I'm still wondering about is this: What is its maximum torso twist angle?

That could determine the lulz or ruin everything.

well, im actually vaguely tempted by the KDK-4, because 2xLPL, 2xGauss, STD350 with a dead shield side is completely doable (5-6t ammo, 15-16 dhs).. you can do the same build on the KDK-3 though...

I don't see it being more than 70 degrees.

But the KDK-2 has Jump Jets and could be a solid jump sniper. Posted Image
