I just spectated one spirit bear fired all of its SRMs I think 4x SRM6s to a Jenner and no damage at all. I also have experienced this when I was in my Griffin-2N where I fired all my SRMs to Firestarter and it just glowed but did not see any changes in the paper info of the mech.

lol ok how do you call it? hit registers? not really sure the proper wording but I hope you get my point
Yeah, I got you, I just felt like being funny.
Hit-registration is the correct term (hit-scan is what you call it when a weapon draws an instantaneous virtual line and anything that crosses it takes damage, i.e. lasers). I haven't noticed any hit-reg problems recently except for one Jager, who was barely moving and not twisting, not taking damage from my PPCs at ~200 meters. SRMs have been perfect.

I used SRMs on most mechs, no issues to report.
Still killing lights as normal, even with my 350ms ping to US servers

As a note, someone is apparently have the exact opposite thing happen for them. i.e. perfect hit-reg.

I've had issues with the SRM's on my SB not registering but my PC/fps is so bad I figure it's partly my fault.

could be a spectator bug or something.
I see people missing when in reality they kill the targets.

I followed an enemy sniper Raven which drove at about 118 km/h with my Jenner IIC and pumped 4 x 4 SRM6 and 2 SRM4in his bum and he was barely orange...
Spectator mode often doesn't show what is really happeneing.

I've had this happen to me when I fired 4 SRM6s and 2 SRM2s into a commando....it's armor just went orange......I mean....that should level a commando especially when fired at 100 meters or less as a target bearing right down at me.

Do you know how many of my double cerppc alphas just warp through the broad chest of an assault of heavy and dont do anything except generate about 50 % heat on 50 % of the maps out there?
They just fly right through.
And this issue has been around forever I think.
I dont even think they can fix those hit reg issues. I mean, it would be one of the first things they do if it was possible right?

SRMs have been flaky for a year, maybe longer. Same thing with PPCs and ballistics. Pretty much any thing that has to be tracked in the server's simulation has a chance to disappear. Lasers do it too, but because of the burn times, the lost damage isn't felt as badly. I still remember a match in my -4P where I put two full burns into the RR shoulder of a BLR, and it never registered either salvo. So even lasers can be lost.
While the old days of lag shooting were annoying, at least when you hit you'd freaking hit.
