On both the far left and right bottom of the Kodiak's view screen is a light, green means retracted and red they are out.

Default is 60
I have mine set to 80 and I can see my claws from the cockpit
This zooms you out a little, instead of being at x1.0 zoom normally you're going to be at x.75 zoom but you zoom in to x1.5 and x2.0 the same and if you have advanced zoom it doesn't effect that either.
On wide cockpits like the AWS you can see a LOT more than on smaller cockpits like the HGN or LCT
I've gotten used to 80 FOV so I very much like it, even though I have a small monitor

The little DOT under the Bear claw
It is that LIGHT under the Standing Item, the weapons and ammo screen cover it though
It is also the dot on the far left in about the same position.

A true elite player told me he spotted my Spirit Bear which was waiting to pounce from around a corner due to the shadow they cast from the moonbeams light onto the dark grey floor and thus a pattern of grey, black(shadow), grey was noticed by he and even though only millimeters thick it gave him pause and he thus went around a different corner to invalidate my attack position.

Its a pity that of late ive had more fun doing these replies than playing the game.
Oh i do remember a fun game against you though. You killed me just as Baba came close (after dropping into his last mech) and you were running from him in your Jester that had an orange ST (my doing). We were all urging him to kill you (as your compatriot had run off) but alas time ran out before he could.

They have NO HITBOX, they will not catch bullets or stop any fire. They are not there as far as hitboxes are concerned. You only see them and i am 100% positive they wont catch any fire, ever.

Uggg, that game.
I think it was after our first wave didn't do too hot I'm all like, "What happened guys?" and my SJR buddies were all like, "Well, you're the only one that brought serious mechs."
Bishop will probably enjoy the irony that I was essentially referred to as a tryhard...by tryhards.
Very good game though. IIRC, we kept trading a 1 kill advantage between our teams for like the entire last 10 minutes.
