Hey, PGI doesn't make it easy to want to be neutral, fair, or heck even reasonable at times. Can't fault people for being frustrated and wanting to voice it (including myself), but I do think there is a bit too much straight up salt.
as long as I keep calling em Reddiots, I'm pretty sure I'm safe from gaining fans there.
As for PGI....here's the thing the "Black Knights" have never understood... you get more flies with honey than vinegar.
Yeah, I'm often not happy with the state of MWO. But all that acting like an entitled dbag all the time accomplishes...is to ensure they don't listen to you. But, if you are selective, if you give credit when and where it is due
When a person has 500 posts, and 499 of them are negative, whiny QQ, how likely is a new whine thread to actually move the needle? Conversely, when you have 40,000 posts, and 39,501 of them are helpful, fun, "thanks for the toys PGI", or even simple "Hey here's and idea"..... then those 499 posts where you do let it fly, are far far far mor elikely to cause people to take notice.
Even on here, I've see "oh snap, when Bishop is no longer white knighting.... it's the apocalypse!".
I may not have been able to cause the wholesale changes I would have liked, but folks like me have had a hand in finally getting things like the rescale pushed through, etc.
Of course the Black Knights simply look at it and go "well MY AGENDA was not addressed, so 100% fail! PGI!!!!", but for the 98% or whatever who are neither White or Black Knights, any little victory counts.

Its probably a combination of things. The steam launch lost momentum really fast. Then there was a large phase 3 patch that is overall a total failure which overshadows anything good about it. Throw in a botched town hall and big hiccups with the 100k tournament.
and other stuff. (also more like 2-3 botched TH)
