Presumably because if it had the same level of quirks as the C2/4, it would immediately and instantly obsolete both, as it's fundamentally the two combined.

Dude, you did really awesome work here. Everyone involved, I can't say it enough - This is great. The Butterbee itself looks fantastic (that camo is great!) and the remodel and rescale? Wow. Awesome.

I just cannot wait to see the rest!

The guy you are quoting is not actually holding out until the game is improved. He's just puffing his chest because he thinks he's so important that PGI will ben their schedule to his personal will.

Obviously, a massive rescale, adding comes bases to assault mode, command wheel, bug fixes, etc. are improvements to the game. I suspect diaper rash as the source of irritation.

It seems the Cata will be a little bit smaller in the future ?

And the additional + 113 points of structure is just fine for this Heavy !

I thought the reason for originally having Jester as the Hero mech was to prevent the C2 and C4 Catapults from being made obsolete...

Really guys? This amount of rescaling for this mech is just ridiculous. Now it looks like the fracking size of 40 tonner or something like that. If rescaling of all other mehcs are took the same weird forms it will be disaster. I wonder what kind of psychodelic brain stimulators 3d-modellers and game designers are using?

I only wonder if the Jester and K2 are going to be bigger than the Missle Cats, as they don't use up the "volume/tonnage" from the LRM launchers.

I am curious to see some Clan mech rescale at this point, like nova, maddog or the shadowcat... I do not expect great changes in size of TBW, Hellbringer or Ebon Jaguar. I am also curious to see what are the changes for light mechs.

The Catapult rescale is the most dramatic change we'll see. (It was much too big) Said so themselves in the original post. Don't expect everything else to be that different .

The new Nova is also very small. (they showed some pictures a while ago)

If they are using an automated process, I suppose every mech will change in some way.

Yup. I'm with you. First this mech was to big and now it's ridiculously small. From one extreme to the other.
