yesterday i finaly played a few matches since been back after a while.
first five matches i did 100 damage..um ye, great. but then i remember how to play.

I alrdy used to 640x480 blue UI, which is for unknown reason not scalable to 1440p resolution.
But there is one thing weird when using arrows on keyboard (or WSAD, its same) for mech movement.
The sensitivity.
I can customize sensitivity of mouse, but how to do that on movement keys ?
I mean when i single tap left or right, it turns a lot, and i mean a LOT, ie the sensitivity is set to extreme high.

Is there a way how to lower it for proper movement ? (mouse is fine).

Won't help with sensitivity, but I always tell people to use ESDF instead of WASD.

It's digital vs. analog, with digital you don't get to fine tune your sensitivity. The only way you can get more precise movement is to use a joystick in your other hand for the mech movement.

Because in other games you STRAFE with A & D, instead of turning. How do you imagine "turning your sensitivity down" on an digital input? A 200ms press will now turn you half the distance? Congrats, you are now only able to turn at half your regular turning speed.

well its set from core engine of the game. its not true in other games you only strafe.

the movement itself feel weid, when using left or right.

foot controllers with variable input?

I do not see this helping.

IF you are using your movement keys for aiming this MAY be the issue. Lower mouse sensitivity to as low as you can get it and use your mouse to aim NOT the movement keys.

alrdy doing that, aiming with low sens. mouse. thats fine. then i hit left/right and the mech turns like affected bitc*. Not flawless movement.

Why do you want to turn your legs with less speed? Or am i missunderstanding the question?

example. (no exact numbers)

i tap left , and mech turns 90 degress left, i want to turn only 60-70 degress per tap on keyboard.... the 90 degrees feels affected/not fluent.

It's not about speed, it's precision he's after

Uh bad example, maybe you mean to turn 2 degrees per tap instead of 4 degrees. 90 degrees is one fourth of a circle.

try any FPS game for 10-15 mins, then try immediately left/right turn in MWO. you will feel the difference (im not talking about the "tank" movement itself.)

Either this is way exaggerated, your definition of a "tap" differs vastly from mine, or maybe low FPS are contributing to this problem.

capper, yeye, it was just an example to show what i wanted better, (and i feel it better in any shooter game on PC).

meathook, it was only example,to show the idea. sheees.
low FPS? like 70-100 FPS is too low for ya ? GTX970.

its lil weird cause when i played it on laptop with 25 fps, th movement itself had better nature feeling. Now it has more FPS, but the movement is weird.

So, it's not your FPS. To answer your question, no, there is no option to lower the sensitivity of turning via keys. You could try a macro that pulses the key for you, but as I said, you will effectively just cut your turning speed in half. You may also try to implement some kind of "ramping up" turning speed by using a macro, that pulses heavily at first, but then lowers the pulse interval after a while.

As others have suggested, your best bet is probably going analogue for your left hand, either with a joystick, or a thumb stick using a gamepad, or a gameboard with a thumbstick like the Logitech G13.

A joystick for movement would add so much immersion... sigh. I should have picked up that one I seen at my local comp shop for 40 bucks.
