But honestly specific mech nerfs aside, I realised that no matter what mechs we bring into CW that are competitive, anything that becomes "tier 1" the mechs that we regularly recommend to new pilots looking to get into CW, or the mechs that our unit commanders suggest we have on hand will eventually get screwed over by nerfs. Our drop deck tonnage limits and CW mech combination planning will eventually get screwed over by a 10 ton change.
It feels almost pointless to try an plan anything out in the long term, like what mechs to save up for next for your drop deck. It takes so long to grind for modules, xl engines and mastering a mech it can be something of a months dedication for casual players.
PGI, maby it would be better to instead of pissing off people who spent so much time on a mech by nerfing it, why not add new mechs with no quirks at all and then gradually increase them.
I honestly feel bad now for all the players that recently got Black Knights and Grasshoppers last month.
