I wish I could've enjoyed that video...
But they were just so glaring, it's false advertising.

(I will give a special nod to that Commando with the red smoke...HAHAHAHAHA)

The video is bollocks....false advertising at its best. Mechs exposing themselves like this if you have OP chokepoints? Riiiiiiiight.

pah, you need to take lessons on how to make a GOOD vid for MWO, like the guys at, TMC




EVERYONE who don't know really should see this, WAY better cocpit displays as well, why didnt these guys make MWO instead?

Tried that game mode again - DISSAPOINTING matchmaking, stupidly unbalanced.

Waied in a 3 man unit 45minutes for a drop and gave up.
Then tried on my own. Got a drop fast. 12 pugs against a 12unit... that was no fun, just a waste of time.

No, but this is how a 5 year old responds.

Seriously, it's an advertisement. Have people never watched ads on TV? you expect a Big Mac to be as good as it appears in the ad? As far as game (read: not gameplay) trailers/ads go its reasonably accurate. Certainly a lot more so than most AAA game ads I've ever watched (witcher, dark souls, elder scrolls, saints row etc etc).

Can't comment on the other trailers, since I haven't played the games, but what did the Witcher trailers made you believe you'll see in game, that wasn't true?

To me, this is more akin to the Ubisoft R6: Siege and GR: Wildlands staged co-op trailers, scripted to build tension. Except the script isn't very good and it's kind of hard to actually determine wth is going on in there, if you haven't already played that mode. Though the jumping from invasion to scouting and back was actually a nice idea.

The "heavy fire from the Spider" part I find hillarious, the "I'll hold them off" Commando part I find... sad. Both tactially and from what we know actually happens in this game (i.e. that a Commie can't hold off an invasion of opossums if the future if our galaxy depended on it).

Plus it gives false impressions on what you're actually going to see in the Scouting mode - namely the numbers and tonnage of participating 'Mechs.
