Do you really think that requesting people to get their name in and compiling a public list of people who are quitting is not in any way passive agressive?

What is the purpose of this list? Are you staring an email group? Organizing a weekend barbeque?

Or is it a nothing but a complaint thread?

My pride is totally intact btw, thanks for asking. I would have considered it damaged however if I succumbed to a sunk cost fallacy and forced myself to play something I was no longer enjoying, just because I felt like I owed the developers something.

It's a complaint thread. Not disguised at all. It can be hard to tell how many people really dislike the change just by scanning the number of threads/posts because some people are way louder than others. I figure this helps put the noise into at least slightly more accurate, actual numbers.

The topic has been discussed ad nauseum. Most people have made suggestions about what they want fixed or what they don't like so there's no reason to bog this down with any of that. It's just letting anyone who cares know how many people they have alienated with this change.

When feeling sick due to vertigo for me is "capacity to learn" then you have a skewed idea of what learning entails. And I never have gotten sick in any other game.

Plus why should we learn something that is about to be hotfixed and changed? I can't play currently, due to the nausea, and others have reported the feeling as well. Tends to happen when you lose direction where you are going, limited by a small box for directions.

You need to play battleship to get the grid coordinates to people. Half the time half your team doesn't know how to use it haha It was broken before how we had the grids. Sure add your icons. This is a certain type of special.

Make the new one default, but give us the option to revert to the old minimap.

+1 on the nausea, I could not figure out what was going on at first, I am not prone to motion sickness, normally. It's a subtle thing, but really noticeable to me in a light mech. I didn't realize how much I depended on orientation in game on the minimap till this evening, it's the damnedest thing. after about 3 games I was so queasy I had to quit.
