Yep. Don't let your anger make you think other players comments are filled with anger. Most of the replies and topics are for fun and only the angry players talk about "toxic" or "anger" etc. Being a game try have some fun.

wasn't this suppose to be the big patch? the game changer? and all it came down to was the mini map? the mini map was broken but.. cmaaawn how disoriented can you be on a map you already played a thousand times.

and the new frozen city map... couldnt they have just renamed it and kept the old frozen city? why is pgi being so stingy with maps? will any one be suprised if they start trying to sell us maps?

Perhaps your expectations are a bit high.

PGI is a small company, newish to games like this. Bit off more than they can chew.

People spend what they want to spend on whatever. To me, MWO is worth $20 now and then. Ill spend more when FW is established.

Getting butthurt over something that should be obvious to most players is ridiculous. Either budget your money better or do some research. Caveat Emptor.

You are like one of those Browns fans who thinks the Browns can win the superbowl every year. Then you rage when they dont even reach 500 ball.

Ill pay PGI $20 here and there as long as MWO is FUN. And despite the amateur development, it still is fun to me. you should adopt the same perspective. Keeps the 24na to a minimum. Keeps one sane.

Honestly I think some people need to take a step back and reflect a bit on thay comment when Russ said they know better then the community....now hear me out for a sec...

I say this cause I have had something similar happen with some of the devs/historians over at Wargaming and WoT....they literally said, everything usually the community has thought up has already been dicussed and usually was thought up as well by some of the dev team/historians but was put on the shelf or throw away....And after my initial angst on this, it makes sense that they would, after all it is thier job you know? However even if someone knows about it and knows of ideas, if it is not on thier peraonal agenda or brought up by higher ups, the idea goes no where fast, if st all...So aka the ideas are usually nothing to new, you just have to convince the right people at PGI to push it maybe if it's even possible...

However if Russ is just being argogant idk....I do not know the man to much. I don't think many do here, know him personally. But maybe he didn't convey what he was meaning with the right words? (Was it one of his drunk moments?)

Just saying get both sides of the story not just yours as the customer.

MWO will never and can never be the MW/BT game I want.

I want MW4's variety and options for game play. Respawn/no respawn, FFP vs. a good 3PV, player-decided teams/maps/DZ's/day-or-night/weather-on-or-off/weapons-restrictions/etc. My choice of game mode - destruction, attrition, battle, king of the hill, capture the flag...my choice of teammates...my choice of enemies...etc. People forget that in MW4 if you really hated jump snipers aka pop tarts, you could outlaw the sniper weapons, 3PV, and even jump jets. And vice-versa - hate brawlers? Restrict LBX20's and SRM's out of your games. Player-made maps. Functional MFB's. So many tons of options that MWO simply doesn't have, and IMHO, it led to better game play because people could plan not only individual mech builds, but team builds, tactics, planetary strategies in player-made leagues, alliances, etc. in ways that MWO has emulated but never matched.

OK, all that said, MWO is still a fun game to play. I've burnt out on it and quit many times, and I'm sure I'll do so again. Then I'll come back and play again. I haven't spent money on MWO in over a year, but if I do so, it won't be because MWO is suddenly the best MW game ever. It will never be that. I accept that. If I spend money, it will be because MWO has offered me something I want at the time. That's all.

i actually play the game unlike you master forum warrior. plus i cant make too many "laser/alpha builds are meta cheese" rants because then i get pow pow. what was i suppose to respond to on his post? that he likes the game? other then that he just mocked me?
