Also; I need to spend 20,000 MC to get a free mech bay? that's pretty much like giving a 1.5% discount on MC.

Same boat as all of you here. Reached 15K XP, got the 1K GXP early. Same happened to someone else I know of. At that rate, it should have awarded an extra 1K GXP again at 30K XP. Oh well, PGI's got yet another bug to fix for future events.

The GXP reward was attached to the wrong achievement. It rewarded with the 5 victories instead of with the 30,000 XP.

I wouldn't get your hopes up unless they somehow take back the incorrectly applied reward(s)...

I am not sure compensation would be the most accurate word for this imho...

Huh... and I was hoping for more like an extra 1K GXP for the second 15K XP that had to be earned.

Not a bad event. DXP is always nice. There have been plenty of personal challenges to work on.

I was even briefly on the PHX-1 leader board (and here I thought the PHX-1K would be the easy one to climb). If I'm lucky, maybe I'll stay in the Top 75. Probably not though.

P.P.S. Also, some system of selling back cockpit items for C-Bills would be good. I have these six Irish flags sitting around collecting dust, you see. (Though I almost considered painting some mechs up in appropriate colors after seeing reports of how nice the Irish fans at Eruo 2016 have been.)

P.P.P.S. Or barring that, how about a button to filter items we own that are not currently assigned to mechs?

Post-Event Review, "Bring The Heat" 2016 ---

Finished the event, took me more than the 13 hours of battle time that I estimated. I would have converted some XP, but at 50 XP for 1 , it still isn't quite worth it. I'll be looking forward in the future to a Triple XP Conversion Event, with a rate of 75 XP for 1 .

Now if PGI did more Mech Bay Sale things... or just permanently lowered the cost of a Mech Bay to 150 each.

What i'm hoping for is that they change the final prize of the personal challenge to this, complete all the challenges get a mech bay. I mean if they are going to release a mech each month that means the average person can earn a mech bay each month. not a bad trade off for a weekend of play. Btw i finished all but the KMDD in the first night right at about 3 hours of light game play using the 1B. I blame myself for making it harder than it had to be but it was too hard to play anything else than the 1B, I love these PXH, below average mech or not, totally the best investment of money on a video game yet. Hell I even ended up on the leaderboard, was at 20 for a while.

Really enjoyed the event. Mastered two of my Hellbringers. Elited 2 extra Novas. Won a bunch of stuff. Made 10 million C-Bills. Won 100MC which I used to convert 5000 EXP to GXP that was excess on the Mastered Hellbringers. Upgraded some Pilot skills and have GXP left to buy a couple more.

I might play for a few hours tomorrow to Master one of the Novas.

Agreed.

I did not try for the leaderboards.

I didn't convert any XP.

I did however elite (or finished eliting) 9 different mechs and got 3 more basic'd + speed tweak.

Once those are done, all mechs I own will be at least elited.

Congrats to whoever placed on the Leaderboards! I only focused on one variant myself. Was able to get 7th on the Roc. Sucks that I was 5th when I went to bed hehe. Anyways congratulations. Enjoy reaping your rewards !

I was 25 when I went to work, I came home after the event had finished, 26 with the KK, I was expecting to still be in the first 50 but kicking myself that I messed around with other mechs, instead of trying to secure another 11 points now lol
Patch day was the first time I'd played in a month and first time I've enjoyed the game in about three.

How dare you host an event the month I'm looking at buying a new condo Just kidding, managed to squeeze in a handful of games for the first time in a while and got some lovely >10k XP matches to level up some new robots. That's good enough for me.

I did notice my frame rate is way down since the rescale/minimap patch. Low 30s on maps that used to be in the 50s. Hopefully that's being addressed in a future update, I'd hate to downgrade the video settings again to accommodate a change no one asked for.

I have been away from the game for a few months and I came back just in time for this event. Love the P-Hawks. Great mech and really is a fun scout. I have found that it's a great little second line brawler. It has a lot of things that it does well, nothing that it does better than any other mech, but it does a lot of things second or third best.

I managed to get in enough good games to break into the top 50 with Roc, which is pretty good considering that I have been away for a while. I managed to get my P-Hawk's mastered while I was at it. I really hope that have events like this in the future.

Only had the time to play each variant of the Phx one time today.
One game was a loss the others wins (premium time + first victory + double do = yeah!!! Thanks PGI)

Didn't get much rewards, like the Phx, little bit annoyed by the New mini map (thank God I didn't pay before the hotfix).

To sum it all up, it was a nice day after a week without MWO.

I'm feeling happy and I wish you all the best my fellow mechwarriors!

It's nice to be able to play this game with you.
