Phoenix hawks need missile points so they can be used as LRM boats. I think this will be the best thing for MWO.

Can we remove ghost heat and buff LRM speed and make them all CT seeking?

Clearly, we should just port the old Quickdraw (C) LRM quirk over to replace all missile cooldown quirks.

That'll fix em.

Once more we have a NERF EVERYTHING thread. These are getting old. I say Boost weapons. You think they are powerful now, you should have seen them in beta. We are firing pop guns by comparison now. Tell you what. come up with something original like an idea that does not involve "NERF This".

No no, just streaks. CT seeking needs to be what sets them apart from other missiles. I feel certain that CT-seeking streaks would work great.

You guys just don’t know how this stuff works

If you want LRMs to be better you jump on the forms and say LRMs suck

Then a bunch of people say yeah your right

Then like magic LRMs get better

And they stay better until someone cries LRMs suck or we have to do something about LRMs

Then pow! LRMs suck again lol

Nah, lets make it a fair playing field and just globally double cockpit size, remove gauss charge and double PPC velocity speed.

LRMs should be nerfed..the spread should be increased on ranges above 600m...LRMs are an indirect fire weapon and should be meh...if u want pinpoint accuracy use lasers and dakka like the players with skill do....no way should LRMs be buffed for sissy play.

Thank goodness this thread isint serious. However the worse of lrms are the better. Lrms have always been controversial and for a good reason they are indirect fire weapon. It has an insane screenshake, great supression, can fire over cover and is a pugstomping weapon. Unless they change its indirect fire to something that isint a nightmare to balance lrms will remain a mediocre weapon.

You know what the best pugstomping weapons are?

Anyone good with an IQ high enough to use a functional build they constructed sensibly in Mechlab.

The seal actions are still there in pug q ... lrms < min range, running scared from a out numbered mech, afk at spawn, no awareness, leaving no back up room, 2-3 in the battle against a isolated mech when should be more

But this isn't a nerf everything thread! This is a nerf most things so that LRMs are indirectly buffed! This is the most intelligent, innovative and yet straightforward method for improving a weapon system that I can conceive. If you know of a superior alternative, please describe it for us all, in detail!

How could I have forgotten? But, why stop there? Let's not merely double the cockpit hitbox... let's TRIPLE IT! Make or, even better, for those sight impaired snipers out there, let's make the entire head count as the cockpit hitbox. From the side, from behind, from EVERY direction! Thanks for this amazing idea.
