Nowadays i just look for something like news about Solaris or that mechanic that Russ said would stop us from constantly firing Alpha's.
It's extremely unlikely but unless this is some kind of announcement for Solaris in the next patch i won't even twitch an eyebrow in excitement.
That's me anyways. Good luck guys. Hope your prayers for your favorite mech comes true.

Can we put that aside for a bit so that we can focus on putting the pieces together?
(also you're still missing this piece here http://mwomercs.com/...t=201606faction )

A gold name was logged in here and was maybe going to post but some troll with no self respect has to post this. I got a few choice words for this kind of thing and if this wasn't a polite forum on the computer, you would hear them.

Yes, there is. There are previous games that explicitly did content just like that (Age of Empires Online), where the main content was effectively similar in what is being sold here.
When you have Founders literally saying that we're playing the same game "more or less" than what we did in Beta, it's not just a random statement. Sure there are more maps, mechs, and "gamemodes" (including metas) since then, but we're coming back to the same thing - what is there to really do in this game beyond killing mechs?
In CW/FW Phase 2, Clan
I mean, sure, the money can continue rolling in (I don't have the #s, so I can't pretend to know), but there's a certain point where eventually it's not going to "just work". You don't need a public outcry like the Minimap disaster to see how fragile things can be. If you truly think this is sustainable like the alternatives that at least attempt to show they are trying AND not resting on their laurel... then I don't know what to tell you.
If you think trying to convince other people to come play this game is easy... you must be the greatest marketer ever. I can easily see why other games are popular (with their warts and all), but trying to sell FW to the masses... with a FW promo that is not even remotely accurate to what we actually deal with?
I dunno... the people will decide. Not you, not me... it's everyone that decides to actually play this game and in the end, PGI is still ultimately responsible for what went right... just as much as what went wrong.
I didn't say you didn't have a reason. heh.
And of course PGI decide, but for what reasons we complain for should be reasonable. you and TK displayed so after explaining your points.

I really do need to unfollow all of mechwarrior and not come back. I'm tired of this.
Hey, don't get so down on yourself, you just need a breather.

Just to play devil's advocate?
Could also be the Black Python battlemech. CT looks like it might have a bubble canopy
Just saying. Also the end of the arm looks more like funky finger than weapon pods.
not saying it is, but Russ never specifically stated we would be getting 4 Omnimechs, either.

My saying
Sadly we know it is to be another Clan Heavy Omnimech, which the Linebacker fits perfectly for (and that silhouette matches) and unlike the Nova Cat isn't visually and role wise an exact match of the Night Gyr. Though a Black Python battlemech would be fun to me.

I mean, Torso appears to be facing left, rear to the right, but....
the legs, feet especially, look (to me at least) to be facing right, with the "heel" to the left.
Balance, as the silhouette stands would be pretty difficult, as it looks like the longer "toes" are behind it...idk, guess we'll find out soon enough

Thing is...we don't.
That is two separate conversations that the forums have combined. He said he had 4 Omnimechs in timeline still worth doing..but that they wouldn't fit a package.
It could very well be the Linebacker. But it's "not a guarantee" that we are lookign at an Omni.

Unless you want this to be another CoD or Halo game where DLC like maps you have to pay for.
They will finaly have to make a game? Maybe id pay for a complete Battletech Mechwarrior game that uses the mech i already have, maybe.
