[wubbing intensifies]
It runs a little hot, but if you want more heatsinks then the head laser has to go and at that point you probably don't need more heatsinks, and unfortunately it's really inefficient to have a bigger engine (unless you go up by several steps, which means having a different build) because the next engine size up is 1.5 tons heavier.

Crab CRB-27B, "Battleclaws"
4 Medium Pulse Lasers
1 Flamer in the center torso
-Endo-Steel structure, Ferro Fibrous armor, Double Heat Sinks
-maximum front-faced armor; only 4 in the rear torsos and 6 in the rear center torso
-Speed Tweak will achieve 104 kph
-it runs a little hot, but it makes for a good fast striker mech

This is my more standard build for the Crabs. 3 ERLLs deals a reasonable amount of firepower at range, while remaining fast enough with a standard engine. Has a spare medium laser for when you've lost the sides or for some close up peeking damage.
Very new player friendly for this design.
Edit: Adjusted Front and Back armor values.

Crab 20 with max XL350. Comes with 2 LLs and 2 MLs for decent firepower and cooling. A decent ride with enough speed to chase lights, and enough armor to reposition if in a bad spot. My only qualm about the design is the XL engine with the Crabs rather large side torsos. Reasonable though, given enough experience in how to use it.

CRB-30
The CRB-30 is a complete rework of the CRB-27 Crab introduced in 3061. To start, the standard engine has been replaced with an ExtraLight model. The CRB-30 puts this free weight to good use by replacing the twin large lasers with a pair of ER PPCs and upgrading the medium and small lasers to an ER Medium Laser and an ER Small Laser. The standard heat sinks have all been replaced with double heat sinks, though two have been removed, so the PPCs must use volley fire. The last part of this upgrade is the addition of a Guardian ECM Suite and an improved C3 computer.[13] BV (1.0) = 1,204 (C3: 188)[14][15], BV (2.0) = 1,509
