PNT-10K

I've used something very close to this to pull off some amazing things. It stays true to the classic Panther, while turning it up to 11.

I like the 10P because its standing out with ballistics.

Gauss variant without JJ but with decent speed and 25 shots to bear. Place them wisely!

I put together this build THE DAY I got the Panther in my Resistance pack, with only small adjustments to ammo/JJ count.

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b71ec01fd53c129

Ever since, it is BY NO SMALL MARGIN my most played mech.

Fun skirmisher, screen, or close protector for your team. With practice, can also do rather well vs other lights; I'd say I have about a 50% success rate 1v1 vs Cheetahs.

I have two builds to submit for this one

The Panther 8Z is very good at showing how important quirks can be for a mech, giving it long range and very devastating DPS from 3 large lasers with reduced duration. It teaches heat management very quickly, but all in all feels nice to play.

The Panther 10K shows itself off as a unique brawler. It has the hardpoints and hitboxes of a medium or heavy, while boasting most of the speed and agility a light mech brings. It functions as a strike brawler, or sustained fighter against something that runs hot, since it keeps very cool in combat.

Panthers are classically, light support mechs. They're not particularly fast but they do pack a decent wallop for their size. This is my Black Panther build (and yes I run all black paint on it, stock camo pattern)...Four fire groups, ER LL+TAG, SRM4x2+TAG, ML+TAG, and the TAG alone. It can harass, sniper, or mix it up close range competently for a 35 ton mech. The AMS lends to its survival when operating alone or when in support of heavier mechs. The TAG gear improves the accuracy of the SRMs as well as lets the mech act as a spotter for LRM carrying team members. The mech's quirks are oriented to lasers primarily, and of course the energy range boost also applies to the TAG. One mistake in the entry, meant to put a 180XL not 175XL engine.

I have a couple different PNT-10P builds, I have White Tiger (yes the camo scheme is white/grey)...

Like someone elses gauss panther except faster and better armored (no need for double heat sinks when you only have a gauss rifle).

And Scattergun...
