Gauss variant without JJ but with decent speed and 25 shots to bear. Place them wisely!

Ever since, it is BY NO SMALL MARGIN my most played mech.
Fun skirmisher, screen, or close protector for your team. With practice, can also do rather well vs other lights; I'd say I have about a 50% success rate 1v1 vs Cheetahs.

The Panther 8Z is very good at showing how important quirks can be for a mech, giving it long range and very devastating DPS from 3 large lasers with reduced duration. It teaches heat management very quickly, but all in all feels nice to play.
The Panther 10K shows itself off as a unique brawler. It has the hardpoints and hitboxes of a medium or heavy, while boasting most of the speed and agility a light mech brings. It functions as a strike brawler, or sustained fighter against something that runs hot, since it keeps very cool in combat.

Like someone elses gauss panther except faster and better armored (no need for double heat sinks when you only have a gauss rifle).
And Scattergun...
