<*floats on link*> ... Uhm, looks like the "HighLander IIC" Clan Mech, instead of the Inner Sphere one. :o

As these will inevitably be used by new players people shouldn't be making the IS mechs XL builds, yeah panther, I know.

Seriously though a mech that is more durable, with more armour, and less firepower, giving less chance to over heat, due to alpha's is going to be a far better option, than builds that established players will consider optimal.

I hope this champions will be better than those actually in game, expecially clans one.

Clans champions are all energy boat except some with gauss.. this awful weapon with awful mechanic with awful DPS eating tons for more DHS, in FP those mech are barely usable in defend matches and completely useless in attack where you have to wave with others and share armor, extreme heat or low DPS is not good.

As a rookie I would prefer something more usefull in FP, where I cannot afford a clan mech of mine yet (yes not enough free time to play), then when you buy the mech you can modify it in something more usable so I cannot understand all those creepy builds..

Jesus Christ there is no one clan single champion with an autocannon! Those build have to be used for who started playing this game, not modelled by some meta top 10 tier 1 guy using his build in private team match, noobs are not tier 1!

And then.. mech bay sale please.. thanks!

Actually they are fine at what they do, even vindicator and trebuchet. One merely have to get used to them.
I'm, however, concerned about panther and crab. Its not like they are particularly good mechs on their own.

does this mean incoming mastery bundles for those chassis? (considering only left is to add the hero variants)

or that still months away?

As I said my concern are in clan side, vindicator and trebuchet champion version are something useful at distance but crap in a wave push, btw IS have lot of chassis to choose so you can edit your drop deck before lauch depending you are in a defense or attack mission.

Check all the clan champions, you will found only lazor boat or long range builds, all bad without heat efficiencies and in attack..

Again 8 champions and not a single autocannon or SRM launcher.. shame, try to do better this time.

IMHO, making the Panther of any variant into a trial mech is cruel to new players.

And I like the Panther. It's just not a great learner's chassis.

As long as there is a variety it should be fine.

Ahh yes! The next wave of mechs terribads will be taking into cw... just make them all LRM boats so 50 total match damage doesn't disappoint us anymore.

Can we please all agree that champion mechs up to 55 tons will be used as trial mechs in scouting mode and should fit?
