PGI - Please sell your existing assets for reasonable prices...? You don't have to sell just the new ones for reasonable prices, you can do the same for old ones, too.

I quite agree, the older packs should be brought in line with the new stuff.

I just bought a Mad Dog with Cbills tonight. It was nice being on sale, but they didn't make $20 on it seeing that I bought it with Cbills. Fun Mech :-)

Wanted 3, though.

Bet we will see people whine and moan about the lowered price if PGI did that, just cause they bought them at higher price in the past.

One truth of society.... people are going to whine. Usually without a legit reason to do so. Being held hostage to whiners is not acceptable .

Once demand drops it makes sense to lower prices in order to increase sales. It's a simple game of supply and demand. I'm sue PGI doesn't sell the old packs as much now so lowering the prices will benefit everyone.
Oh and people didn't whine when the flat screen TVs they bought for 5000$ when they just came out went down to 1/10th of its price. This shouldn't be any different

once you start your pricing model you stick with it, once you cut prices it plays mind games with existing customers.

Thats why the ala. cart Madcat is still $55 which is a crazy high price LOL

This, I totally agree, I'd totally have bought the Jager pack for 20, now I'm getting all of them for Cbills, would totally buy an Atlas pack, Timber and EBJ packs at some point as well

Doesn't mean you can't keep doing reasonable pricing tactics and re-price the old stuff, the new model clearly works better for them as the pas ~~10 mechs use it, why not implement it for all of them

When a 2016 Ferrari is cheaper than a 2004 ford focus you know your pricing department messed up somewhere

Most people would buy the timber wolf, because its the signature mech of mechwarrior. Plus, its still the best, or 2nd best mech in the game (Behind the KDK)

But you're right on all other counts. All the newer mechpacks far eclipses these ala-carte options, especially that the mechpack gives premium time too.

PGI was never good in pricing.... just three letters: C(-)AC

The problem with price is they did take them from tt and didn't spend any second though. So you pay more for inferior. (You will pay more C-Bills for the Linebacker in comparison to Hellbringer or Ebon Jaguar)

I think its strange that we still have those packages available - even with those Mechs available for MC or C-Bills.
Seriously nobody could be so stupid and buy those Mechs using MCs (at least he would not buy additional MC to buy those Mechs for MC) - in case of the Kodiak a single Kodiak would cost as much MC as the whole package - because MC pricing is based on C-Bill prices....and 400XL, DHS, ES plus in case of the KDK3 - LBX this cost dearly

Conspiracy theory

It comes with Lb-X just so that it has inflated price

The LBX is twice the price of a standard AC - simple reason because you get a gun that reaches farther, produces less heat and has two firing modes - oh wait.
So the every LBX should have the same price as every IS AC. But instead it still twice as expensive - and because we don't have solid rounds in MWO the Clans have the Standard AC - for the same stats as the LBX and the same price.

So you pay more for less - in comparison with the C-UAC.

No conspiracy - just a rant against stupid ignorance

In BattleTech the LBX Cannon was a piece of superior technology. Standard power creep. In MechWarrior Online the LBX weighs less and takes up fewer slots which means it should be an inferior weapon. So it should be cheaper in this game not more expensive.

You get one good speaker and you compare this situation to lets say skyrim price dropping down.

Ridiculous arguments shut down...
