The way I looked at the viper...it was the payload weight of a myst lynx, in a faster, further jumping and better armored mech with a better number of hardpoints.

Heheh.
I am less enthused about decals than other people because of how I see myself revering the decals of others... if I see decals on my enemy, it's because I am staring down on his burning wreckage and happen to notice a spot that I failed to incinerate properly...

Actually PGI said that the Loup de Guerre was a testbed for decals, when the Loup de Guerre was announced.

They better leave the major house decals as faction play rewards.

How could they release the game without such an essential feature? Literally unplayable. Now I know what always seemed off in MWO. Mechs without decals are not real Mechs!
PGI obviously has no clue what matters most in a Mech game. Nobody ever gave a crap about the camos. It was always about them decals. Life is complete now.
It's like if you would buy a GTI, S-Line, VR6 or a Type R and then remove the Type R badge. Why would you do that? Where is the pride? We need those badges on our machines so everybody knows it's a certified badass and you better not dare to compete with it.

Everyone in the Tuner world knows that each decal adds 5HP. In MWO each one should be good for at least 5 DPS.

Kidding or not. Do NOT give PGI ideas like that

One and only time I will ever indulge in a Collector's/Ultimate edition. My money has been put where my mouth was back in September-ish (I think...can't forum-search the thread up anymore). Pretty much the last Clan 'Mech I will ever need. 'Bout time to polish off those old Cicada moves again, except for having ALL the delicious jump jets.
EDIT:: never mind they fixed forum search. See - I back up my talk. When Piranha lets me, anyways.
