OOOOPPPPSSSSS

Hey PGI .... you messed up something with the Vipers at least.
After this 'hotfix' vipers now only have the omnipod options of left and right torso, and they also can not load any modules.

Something is wrong with the UAC heat. I'll need to check but it seems that I get MASSIVE heat spikes when I'm hitting an enemy while they run pretty cool when I'm shooting at the wall. Will double check in testing grounds and post after the servers come back online.

So far tested with EJB and TBR (2 uac10s and 3 ml)

They increased the heat penalty and it's triggering when you do a quick double tap. You can avoid it if you wait a hair's breath longer, but I don't think double-tap should factor into the penalty.

IMO, they either need to force a mandatory 0.5 second delay before you can double tap, or they need to remove the possibility of incuring a heat penalty on the double-tap. Otherwise it's too confusing for players.

After the maintenance patch, I can't buy omnipods from mechs I already own.

Please change the wording for the supply cache

from: "HAS BEEN REWARDED WITH A SUPPLY CACHE"
to: "WAS REWARDED WITH A SUPPLY CACHE"

I was rewarded with my first supply cache : I feel like a has-been now ^^

I hope that the decals that people put over their cockpit windows actually block or obscure their vision (depending on transparency) and that this effect can not be disabled by any means other than removing the decal.

Viper is the first mech I preorder.
Is it normal Omnipods arent showing just yet? Or is it a bug because of thr patches and stuff?

The omnipods shouldn't in theory be buyable for cbills since the mechs aren't themselves available for cbills, however the Nova D which is currently a cash only reinforcement buy, you can buy the pods of for other novas you already own.

As to the viper pods, if you remove them they're saved in your inventory like other pods are, so you can always strip the arm/side torso pods off all your vipers then rebuild them to suit. You lose any set of 8 bonuses (and a few of them are good) but you might be willing to forgo those for specific loadout configurations you want to use.

No it is a bug. The omnipods are usually purchasable only for the ones that you own. So say you own the C variant and the B variant and you want to put B side torso omnipods on the C you can do that, but say you want to put the M variant omnipods on but don't own the M then the M's omnipods won't even be shown as an option to buy (sometimes the 'special' variant omnipods aren't shown even if you do own it).

Now on my post about modules and omnipod locations. Don't know if an actual hotfix happened or what but just came out of a match and went to try again and sure enough I'm able to once again load modules and swap omnipods.

Also it looks like x2 exp multiplier on the mechs are not dropping after the victory. I have already got x2 exp for the first victory 2 or 3 times on few mechs.
Yep, confirmed.

Glad to see decals finally in game altho I am a little bit surprised that faction decals (House Kurita emblem, Marik, Liao etc. and of course clan ones) are "special"(500 MC) instead of "basic"(180 MC), also I was kinda hoping that we will possibly see those particular decals available as rewards for loyalists in faction warfare.

I own SCR-PRIME, SCR-B and SCR-C, but I could buy and use omnipods of SCR-A and SCR-D. And this is not NEW behaviour, this was available for months.

What you did with clan ballistic? Ok, nerf 4xUAC10 builds good, but why 2xUAC5+2xUAC10 now so hot (mb just a little lesser than 4xUAC10)?

Is it normal?

Welcome to the double-tap ghost heat penalty! Those Ultra Autocannons are great! But you are going to be penalized for firing like they are made to!

:(
2x UAC 10 x 2 fires = ghost heat it seems.

Bad mechanic is bad.

I think this has been the largest variance in patch size since we launched on Steam, but the difference you're seeing comes down to the different compression methods used between our standard client patcher and Steam's patching system. Unfortunately this isn't something we have control over for the Steam version.

Would ya'll be so kind to consider a more efficient patching method? You changed something in the last several months and now updates require a ridiculous amount of free disk space now after the download is completed (two times the patch size, sometimes even more) on top of the downloaded file...

Some of us don't keep much free disk space around and patching has become a cumbersome, tedious process.

It's the Mighty Morphin' Omnimech. Posted Image

The one good thing I saw in this patch was the save times. Lightning fast compared to yesterday...

Known bug. There were some cache files to delete as a workaround, but I'm too lazy to find you the quote Posted Image

I don't believe you can buy the omni pods for the mechs until the mech is available for c-bills.
