But, how do we BRAWL BRAWL BRAWL!!! on the forums?

If there has recently been a set of disappointing patch notes posted, then the whole GenDisc section becomes that way. :P

Use misdirection with Long Toms, and discuss the Curious Case of the Machine Guns while quoting the Princess Bride.

T3
Playing since CW dropped (had been waiting for that).
Now I only play with the lads in my unit most nights for about and 1-2 hours.
Spent a vast amount of money to show my support when I first started. Still have like 3 years of premium time,
Will buy my friends mech packs if it increases there enjoyment but I will not spend any more money for myself.
The only reason I keep playing is for the interaction with my unit mates and some of the other characters I encounter...in short it is the people that keep me playing, certainly not the game.

I still think that there is a great game here. I just don't know if we don't have it because the vision isn't there, the funding isn't there, the man power isn't there, or a combination of all of the above.

I work remote for 5-6 months every summer on **** internet, so get a forced break. Was back this weekend so logged 2-3 hours. Spent most of it bullshitting with my friends on TS and shooting KDK-3s in the face with my Yen-Lo-Wang. Felt like I was taking down 1-2 every match. Game felt fresh with the rescale. I LOVE the new look for the Marauder. Might not seem like much, but the longer stride much improved it visually.

Loved the rescaled Cent. I'm wondering if the hitboxes were adjusted because it felt good again, like it could spread damage again. For a few months there the -4G felt completely superior.

Overall not bad, looking forward to playing more in a month or so once I'm back.

I play around 1 month then leave it for a few weeks, then come back. 20$ a month is not very much for me. So i'm gladly pay for new mechs every time. With those mech packs, with the early adopter, i gain 1 month of premium. So i don't pay directly for premium, but i have more than 6 month banked. But then again, sometimes, i put 15$ in MC for the fun of it.

I do like this game. I'm aware that this game is not in this top shape, but it is fun enough to play it regularly. I'm a fan of Battletech since the 80's. It is the only game that gives me battlemechs. For now (think of Battletech by Harebrained). I did play MW4 for more than 4 years. So i intend to play more in MWO.

I play roughly 2 to 4 hours a night (After my wife goes to bed). I usually can squeeze in 4 to 5 nights a week with little real life disruption.

MWO had been about all I have played since closed beta access. I got a few other games (including Star Citizen) that I occasionally load to break the routine.

I never buy premium time, only get some from mech packs which I do buy. So far I've bought Wave III (full), Origins (full), and Night Gyr (standard and thinking about the hero).

I play in "spurts" when there are new 'Mechs to elite or events. Still playing because there are still a couple of interesting 'Mechs to have like the Gyr. Actually getting bored because of lack of toys to play with, that's why I want PGI to release new tech, preferably in 2017.

What is an average forum warrior? I might qualify...I think I spend more time in the forums than playing anymore. Reading mostly.

Don't have any running premium time except when gained through events.

Have bought things recently, but I really think I might be done with spending. Bought the Cyclops pack last. And the Phoenix Hawk before that. Pretty much all the IS packs minus 2 or three.

Fully expected to kick off some premium time (~8500 hours banked) for the PH but found them UN-thrilling. Less than an hour played on them, total.

Started really getting disenfranchised after the colossal disappointment of FW 3.0.

Pretty disappointed with the great re-scale causing too many mechs to grow in size. Size is a negative, PGI should have realized their baseline volume sizing was off for game play reasons and adjusted downward so that only the great outliers saw some slight increases in size. Yes that would have meant many more mechs would have shrunk, but that is way better than getting bigger.

The July patch and the dart board re-quirkening really might be enough to force a break over the summer and possible cancel on the Cyclops pack. Was actually thinking of picking up the Locust mastery pack after the rescale, but the rumors of the nerf bat kept that idea at bay.

PGI really needs to hire a statistician. With some good data analytics it would be far easier to make intelligent and logical balance passes that would actually be effective and measurable.

Pretty sure there are enough of us here that could spreadsheet warrior better balance changes than what we see actually take place if we had access to all the match data PGI has at their disposal.

So, no. I don't want to buy a mech pack.

How do we determine a winner? Does this mean whomever makes the best Dartboard of Balance™ joke(s)?

Its no secret I think the game is really looking good, very slowly.

I did this event yesterday and it was a very easy one, so it wasn't really a big deal. Played a few matches today playing with the com wheel map addition and that was fun. Went really well for the most part even.

Other than that the next updates look really good but not major feature additions I think this game needs to be a full game.

No big deal, wait and see sort of thing.

I guess im a forum warrior. Its fun to talk sh*t. Also some interesting ideas floating around.

Im coming back after a 3 month hiatus. Im very rusty. I really only play one gme at a time, MWO or Skyrim, Dark Souls, maybe some Minecrat with my nieces.

Ill drop 3-10 matches a night to unwind but will cut back once i get my twitch back.

Despite the game frustrating me some days/nights, I still play, even if I take a break for some months in between. I think this Spring/Summer is the first time I started spending money on the game.

Of course, I admit half or most of my forum posts have been venting my frustration, more on how to achieve or improve with the current way things are with the Tier system. I am still annoyed that I am stuck on Tier 5, and half or more of matches feeling like **** shows and feeling useless to do anything about it. I do not care losing if my team and I played well along with the other team. I do take issue that my Tier rating takes a hit over something I cannot individually have done anything about. No one is better than the team, and cannot win without it.

Stubborn as I am, until I get distracted by life or another game, still play MWO despite that as my only multiplayer game lately. I still have the occasionally really good game though. It is usually those where there is a lot of communication going on, which encourages me to me talkative as well, and doing what I can to play my role in support of the team.

To date, the game I felt I had the most influence in helping win it, when I typed out a general plan to win a Domination match, and led the way with my Locust speeding to the circle with my light lance to grab it. Meanwhile, we waited for the heavies and assaults to arrive outside the circle, before all pushing to the middle. Fortunately had someone else helping communicate/motivate along with myself calling when. Nearly as one, my whole team rushed into the middle, only needing to pounce on a King Crab at the beacon, while the rest of the reds kept to cover or have not arrived yet or whatever. Well, we won the Domination in 3 minutes 37 seconds. Pretty awesome achievement, even though low stats due to lack of shooting and killing. : p

I'm currently only using premium time because PGI activated it all when I earned a 1 day of PT during the event. ( I sent support a letter... no response yet ) Posted Image

Otherwise I'm playing a few times a week. Rarely more than 3 matches in a row.

Haven't really played in months, except for some events here and there...actually somehow stomached playing 10 games in a 24 hour period today. Check the forums almost every day though lol.

Only play when there's a event going on. Not play actively anymore since my MechBays are full.

I actually planned to spend money for hero Mechs like Yen Lo Wang and Black Widow. But after some weird questionable buff and nerf quirks in all mechs and some controversy with PGI and in forum. I decided to spend my money on other than MW:O.
