Regardless of PGI's recent undertakings, this about the time I burnout anyway. Some of the other games that have come out recently also took some of my time, and going into the not only infinite, but stale grindfest of MWO just isn't appealing to me right now. The simple joy of the game is overshadowed by grinding for elite chassis and to get some ten million more c-bills.

When no units members are one, i have fun just chatting with them honestly. They game is just something to do, there are other more entertaining ones currently.
It's just that I realized that after 3 games I usually have my fill of PUGhell. If I play more than that it's because at least 2 out of the first 3 were interesting matches ( win or lose)

I personally hold the forum responsible for the balance issues and keeping the game in the trash. Relegating it to tweaks and nerfs and tweaks and nerfs until I was sick of each person's devastating problems and tales of woe. I think that if the dev's had a supportive community they would have developed more game assets rather than tweak the codebase. But that's a very unpopular opinion. Facts can be used to prove anything, but it is a fact that after the steam release and fair reviews PGI seems to have been able to step up their game some.
I mean we're looking at dynamic night and day for all maps, and other interesting things they are sticking in the code makes me wonder what they've got planned for a mechity mechity future.

But I havnt played at all in about 3 or 4 weeks.
I used to play every day for the first year or so I was here. But the game is just stagnant and Im not sure PIG knows what they are doing anyway.
So mostly I just lurk the forums in the hopes that one day I will see some good news, but so far... nah. Just more disappointment every time I see some patch notes.
In the mean time I will just continue doing what I have been doing.. Playing every once in a while to get my quick Battletech fix, keep my wallet shut, and wait (pray) for another developer to pick this IP up.
And no.. I dont want a Mech Pack

They are adding decals, a shifting day night cycle to the bog, supply caches (basically free stuff for winning), and lots of other stuff.
This is why I'm upset. PGI is cool. You guys don't think it be like it is, but it do.
I've spent, at this moment, 210 dollars on this game, since 2014. I spend more on smokes and those are guaranteed to kill you.

Hey man, if all it takes is some lick-em-stick-em tattoo art in the moonlight while you smoke a death stick to make you happy, then Groovy.
But its just not enough for me.
To each his own I guess.

Recent Activity: Farmed and bought 3 HBKIICs during the sale. Leveled up basics on Stormcrows. Reading GD on MWO forums, posting on Reddit Outreach.
Previous status: Inactive since that huge 7 gig patch. Took me a year to get around to budgeting my data plan to accommodate the patch.
Future: Probably not playing for a bit after the next 1.8 gig patch until I allocate the bandwidth to download it. :3
Status of other Legendary Founder friends: They still don't wanna come back even if I bug them on Facebook and update them on changes and sales.

I have thousands of hour of premium time, i'd be happy to gove it away to people that would actually use it. if it could be done.

Mostly the same, but my budget goes to building up my emergency fund which was pretty much wiped out when my sister got sick and needed an operation. Until that's done it's really hard to justify buying shiny robots, though there are a few packs that I will eventually get. :3

I WOULD RATHER GENERATE CONTENT FOR THE GAME!
But I can understand if that's not allowed in the Cry Engine license. Hell. I mapped for UT and Quake, I skinned for Quake, Modeled for Counter-Strike and skinned. I write RP. I do, things.
IF YOU GIVE PLAYERS SOMETHING TO DO FOR THE GAME THAT HELPS IT ALONG THEN INSTEAD OF POSTING PROBLEM THREADS THEY WOULD BE FIXING THE GAME.

How do we determine a winner? Does this mean whomever makes the best Dartboard of Balance™ joke(s)?
Loser is the guy who stops posting first.
I've killed a lot of threads, worn down a lot of stupid arguments. I drop in Forum Warfare more times a day than anyone drops in Faction Warfare and it entertains me way, way more.

I'm not really planning on buying ANYTHING from them though, unless they somehow decide to release the Quadrupeds (or the Hatchetman)
