Shouldn't purchasing multiple mech packs also allow you the top tier reward?

Ive gotten the Marauder with hero, Warhammer with hero, Mauler A la Carte, Archer with hero AND the Cyclops...will add the hero version on whenever i get back to work...

Yet I'm not eligible for the Loyalty stalker? Thats pretty much the only one I wanted. That makes 0 sense at all.

I thought buying the basic pack with the Hero also qualifies as "top tier", without the reinforcements.

The Loyalty 'mechs for the Collector packs are the reward for taking the worse deal. Basic+early adopters, wait and add hero after quirks is the best deal; they had to give something to the players who spent more for less benefit.

Honestly, they should break it up by money spent.

At least $7 anywhere gets you the BJ-2.

At least $20 for an IS pack gets you the CTF-3L

At least $20 for a Clan pack gets you the HBR

At least $80 for IS packages gets you the STK-3Fb

At least $80 for Clan packages gets you the SMN-F/M

etc.

Maybe PGI isnt trying to give you stuff, but is instead trying to get you to spend more money? If you ever want to think what Russ will do just remember the phrase ... Buy Another Mech Pack.

If anything there will be tweaks to it, for steam pack buyers... and possibly for those with a STD with a hero pack for some.

Why not both? A business decision to both reward purchasing players, as well as enticing them to buy more.

We really need to push Russ/PGI to change the qualifications for the rewards to better reflect how people actually plunk money down in this game. I've never bought the Collector version of the single packs, because I don't see the value in a second prime/base variant with a c-bill bonus when I've already paid for a unique Hero variant.

As such, I've bought every one of the single Clan chassis from the Kodiak and on (except the Huntsman), and all of those will be purchases of the standard, reinforcements, and Hero packs - so $50 per chassis times what... 5 chassis? That's a LOT more money spent on Clan packs than a mere $80 on 2 $40 collector's packs.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has felt this way and has said such. If you guys got a twitter account PLEASE post this (politely) on Russ's page. Its pretty early in the game and if he sees enough of us asknig this question I'm sure they would make some reasonable changes to the reward system.

On the other hand, perhaps they are keenly aware of how people spend money (and there's no reason they shouldn't be) and the Loyalty program is designed to try to get you to spend a little more.

I think they're literally taking the simplest route to figuring out who should get rewarded. It's very easier to see who bought at least two collector's packs. It's harder to see what value a wide selection of smaller packs might be worth.

I can tell you, only rewarding collector's purchases is a huge slap in the face for a LOYALTY program. Having dropped easily over $300 into the game this year alone, I'd say I've been pretty loyal, eh? Certainly more loyal than the guys sitting there agonizing about upgrading their Marauder and Warhammer packs to Collector's packs so they game qualify as "top tier" loyal customers.
