You know...there is a problem with the Blackjack that is more severe than its condition as being 45 tons:

Torso yaw.

Why do 'Mechs like the Storm Crow and the Viper get ungodly numbers of guns
and still retain such fantastic yaw? The BJ-1X has 80 degress...that's almost Battlemaster-levels of bad...and the BJ-1DC and BJ-A aren't much better. This is on a squishy, slow 'Mech. High hard-points, sure, but I still need to be able to twist, and lord help me if the fight gets close (and don't any of you mofos tell me the Arrow wasn't meant for close range). That was my biggest pet peeve during the event: you can't turn fast enough or yaw far enough to contend with even fast heavies if they get close. That's not okay. It's also hard to pull a torso completely out of the way because, you guessed it, you can't twist to a reasonable degree (heh, degrees...twisting).

I really don't mind the durability loss. It's just everything else conspires to make that nerf hurt more than it ought to. Give me more twist. If all standard Inner Sphere lasers had their duration cut by 10% (and they need it), those two things would be all the 'Mech needs.

Also, for those of you still running the BJ-1X like me, I've
compromised on it for now.
