20$ for 3 kdk is a great deal, and you will get a great mech, very fun to play with. I love my dual Gauss KDK-3. Also the hero is worth it, but the cost increase at 35$.
If they do a similar pack for the Direwolf or other clan assault mechs (and also some expensive heavy like TBR) I'll buy it asap.
Clan mechs are way overpriced, in MCs but also in C-Bills, and the KDK has the Clan XL400, one of the most expensive piece of equipment of the game.
It's already a pain to farm 20+ mlns for a 30 tons clan mech (Artic Cheeta), I do not want to think about 3 KDKs.

You can't lawyer your way out of the fact, that this game doesn't exist in a vacuum and will be compared to others

For comparisons to make at least some sense, approximations will be made

So yes in a sense a 100 ton Atlas in MWO is equal to an anime looking girl in school outfit in some Korean MMO

You play them both and do stuff in the world they inhabit and it costs money to dress and equip them. Hour wise it also costs similarly to develop either, because the process of development is the same.

Now you touched two subject that I mentioned as well

1) balance or lack of it

2) MC/Cbill price

1) In a PvP multiplayer shooter, characters should be balanced, otherwise why gimp yourself picking the obviously inferior one and how can it be taken seriously as an E-sport

2) MC/Cbill prices are unstable, meaning that you can get a 20 USD pack or 30 USD pack and get less from the 30 USD one, that's plain ****** accounting and distorts demand because you are much likelier to gravitate a better deal money wise, because why not

You did not understand the part about the math FORCING to scale prices for reasons of balancing.
Read it again with a more open mind and try to understand it.

You did not understand that Mechs are NOT just characters.

Also, please try to find a way of structuring your thoughts into text that doesn't annoy the hell out of your reader.

I don't like the fact you can buy the same thing for either 20 or 90, i don't like the inconsistency, read before you write

I did read, actually. What I'm saying is simply buy it for the most economical, or not, or don't buy it at all. Or, wait for a sale, or buy it now. It's really on you. PGI has an idea of what they are doing with their pricing. It doesn't necessarily make sense to us, but it doesn't have to. If you are complaining about a price, don't spend the money. That's the silent agreement that exists between consumers and businesses.

Oh, by the way people, Spirit Bear is not the first Hero mech to charge you thirty dollars. Boar's Head did it first.

It's really not clever marketing. it's annoying and in your face. and it makes PGI out to be a carnival barker instead of a entertainment merchant.
