I've no problem spending some cash to support the game and there's still a few mechs I plan to buy, but the Marauder IIC won't be one of them.

What point is there to post something here.... Lots of opinions... So why not use the medium with some actual reach beyond a audience that will get the news almost instantly any way....
Twitter has more reach than this forum... Ergo... Use Twitter... Had i worked with community and media strategy i´d done the exact same thing.

It's ok, there's decent enough people that report it back here for us plebs.
which is pretty laughable since people act like opening a twitter account will turn one into a Kardashian or something. It's free, it's simple and it lets me keep track of several things related to games and music, easily.
But people still act like ti's for teenage girls or something.

True, but I see my wife spending hours and hours looking at Twitter and Facebook every day, it's almost shocking how easy people get lost in social media these days...

self control ain't my problem. I keep a window open on my laptop, and tbh don't even have twitter app on my phone. If I see a reply or notice, I might look.
What boggles my mind, is with such access to instant data, verification, fact checking, etc.... is how we seem to be becoming more gullible and reactionary as a society, not less. Just look at this Trump Mania. (mind you, I got no use for either candidate, don't vote, etc, I refer to the person, not the candidate. As candidates both got more baggage than the JFK claims terminal. And more skeletons than a cemetery)
Guy spouts 90% pure anecdotal nonsense, usually totally debunked upon any modest fact check, inherited his money, has filed bankruptcy 4 times, acts liek a petulant child yet half of the USA is not just sipping the koolaid, but bathing in it.
What the heck.

Would someone think of the children.... =P
And you are trying to say that before FB and Twitter people was not lost on forums or wikihopping.... And before that people did not have a radio constantly on in the background...?
The quicker people accept that "forums" have had their time on the stage the better, they are still a great community tool but are no longer the prime communications venue... Much more efficient ways are present.

If none, try.... Bunch of PGI made up variants with current tech, inbound, because last time I recall Russ going on record it was a matter of "read my lips! No new tech!".

agreed. Just pathetic that people go to spend time with family and friends, ...and everyone is on their stupid cellphone instead of actualyl socializing. Or checking their twitter feed at the movies (which may or may not get a coke poured on you from an anonymous source... I can neither confirm nor deny)

Right I keep forgetting JJ's are useless on Assaults since I don't own an assault with JJ's and PGI refuses to just make them work with massive shake, hell with power draw throw in JJ's running (they should produce heat for crying out loud) to help curb fears of poptarting. Then we could have more vertical maps.
Jump Jets DO produce heat.

I'm glad I'm Canadian and live north of the US boarder... But I am worried if the Republican Candidate wins, as I am not sure he has a real plan for anything he has said... even more concerned as he has said that the US will not honour NATO Article 5, if a member state under attack has not fulfilled their obligations to the USA...
Still I would just like someone to ask him for details on how he will make the US great again, how he will stop crime over night...
Anyways this is not the subject of this topic, and we should get back to "Do you want to buy another mech pack?"

I do, I'm often making dinner when I get home, putting the kids to bed, doing the dishes, and crashing in my bed sometime around 9pm, to try and get some sleep before the littlest one needs a snuggle or a snack in the middle of the night, before I have to get up at 5 and start my day all over again.

Then why don't they release some Summoner Alts with no jump-jets and/or Endo Steel and FF armor if it is so simple?

If I were to "run things" a requirement to be nominated as a Candidate would be to have a demonstrable, vetted outline for your "Plan" at least, to prove it's more than mere talk, so people could actually vote based on meat and merit, not rhetoric.
As for the Orange Skinned Hairball, he is bringing Demagoguery back in style in a way that hasn't been seen since 1930s Germany. Again... not even talking politics... he is just a sick, sadistic little bully of a man.

because there is no mad money to be mad on Summoners any more?
Not sure how you are tying one thing to the other though, tbh. Regardless of how "simple it is" or what we may want added, that IS what Russ has stated... new variants, not new tech.
Which by the way... would be a heck of lot more work than adding new versions of with existing assets.

That's the Grand Summoner, a completely different mech...
