CTF is one of my favorite rides but I don't run it unless I'm feeling lucky

Better weapon 'placement' would be phenomenal, it's already bulky and Fugly, lower weapons don't help

I didn't own JM6s until last year but there is a HUGE difference, its really outrageous, 5 less tons but so much of a difference

Sadly, there won't be such a thing, because, as I said, the Cataphract is the Frankenstein's monster of Battletech, a mech who's very creation was borne out of desperation and was constructed out of the scraps of other mechs.

NEW PICTURE, oh **** oh **** oh ****.
It's a bit blurry, but if you look at the in-game pics on either side, you can see that the colored PPC barrel matches (and the LA single laser instead of the double box we currently have). If you look MORE closely, you can also see that it doesn't have the ugly square pegs for lasers.

Oh ****, i might be right on this one! It might actually be a thing!
Oh, i'm getting actually excited

If you have a mech erection longer than 4 hours...

I think you're seeing things that you want to see...

Well, if that was the case, i'd be seeing it as a Quadruped!

I think you need to be committed (to an asylum, filled with all the quadrupeds that you'll never get to see in MWO).

The Loyalty Cataphract (3L) is mostly a clone of the 1X.

I'm sure you need to bother tweet Russ with #mirroredarmsmatter when it comes to the Cataphract-4X.

#returnCN9missilebaydoor

The problem stems from trying to have a 2x20+15 tube configuration.

Then again, the Vindis would love an additional missile hardpoint...

Vindi would appreciate their missile bay door too...instead of the god awful missile torso eyesore.

They could also use their LA fore-arm shortened a bit. Looks like it has the arm of a monkey.

Our beloved 'Phract is long overdue for a makeover. This look, if legit and not just a rendering, is a nice start to fixing if somewhat... Franken mech be damned.

Well, i really hope it's legit and not a rendering, hahaha!

We really need more people to pester russ about it.
I mean it's easy to ignore me, when it's JUST me.

I wonder what the Cataphract would look like now if it actually used the parts the fluff says it does. Since now have the "component mechs" available. ( Marauder right arm and legs, Shadow and Phoenix hawks for parts of the rest )

if nothing else the right arm could use a little toning down ( that thing is gigantic )

Why can't PGI just load up the arm hardpoints starting from the top down. It would not be much but it would help.

In my opinion, we should be able to choose which location to use for which weapon. We should not be required to use machine guns and small lasers to push up weapons to locations we want them to be.

Lostech.

Russ is kinda aware of it (if he even understands the problem), but it's not a priority obviously.

PGI is not great at priorities...
But knowing that they're at least AWARE of it is something...

Only to forget about them.

Remember, the Suckoner was once a mech that was "Russ's favorite" and he felt didn't need improvements whenever asked for buffs.

Apparently the only improvements was in the form of you getting more mechpacks to acquire the necessary omnipods.

Hopefully, i won't take the whole bloody year for the non-(L) variants to come out.

But seeing how the 2015 ones haven't been released yet...
God, it's depressing

Have you even compared the releases of the previous years?

About this time a year later, you'll get access to those damn omnipods.

The wait is real.
