And on another note, is water going to slow 'mechs down? I mean, the Cyclops wasn't full speed and was in water...Or maybe I'm reading too far into it.

Nope.. I've been playing since January 4th and since the day I started, the skill tree had the same values they do today.

I usually... Don't like standing items, because most of them look tacky and obstructive (this one does too, but it's too adorable not to use!).

it will probably only count the center of the glass as the cockpit
it will however likely suffer from the same problem the grass hopper dose, it will not be able to roll damage from the center torso to the shoulders if its getting shot in the head.
