No single mech can be edited?
Only complete Dropdecks?
You wanna sell more Dropdecks? Clever!
But I will just stop playing your **** (not good) gamemode.
101: How to sabotage your own game mode!?
Change something, nobody was asking you to change.
Editing of single mechs was fine, nobody complained about it, you changed it.

The new crimsom is much more lively, like it.
I think some of the calls for arms are buggy. I received call for scouting, tried to take it but since I had no "drop deck", couldn't. Went to make a drop deck, the same scout call came again, several times I tried to select it but it always jumped into invasion queue.

This was my biggest fear with this "drop deck" change, that we would be no longer able to edit single mechs.
If this is true - FP just got even more painful experience wise.
I just do not understand these decisions. Who's making them? A monkey?
What must this happen patch, after patch. Stuffing around with stuff that no user has issues with, but creating more in the process.

You are giving too much credit to mr. Paul Inouye, his mental capabilities, in my personal opinion, can not compete to those superior of your average ape, they are too quick and smart damn beasts. Give him a handicap please, PGI proved being capable to deliver what they promise in 2-3 years.

Nonetheless - new Crimson looks really good and my framedrops are way less than on the redesigned Forest and Viridian.
And the Cyclops? It looks great and I like it very much. The warhorn - wow - it just sounds epic. And every player within my unit is thrilled by that warhorn too.

It's a sensor from a nearby Cyclops teammate. Kinda target gethering info.
The way a Cyclops influences gameplay (rather, it's tacticom) should've been explained in more detail. Right now, for a lot of people it is "+150m sensor range".
Dropdecks anf Favos are nice, good to see favourite mechsback again after more than two years of waiting since UI 1.1 got ditched.
I really like the Crimson Map, give the mapdesigner a free coffee on my tab pls. Lots of detail making this map less sterile. Still, it's not outright beautiful, but that is because the engine on which this game is running is still broken as hell. Modern shading/lighting would do help a lot. Dx12 or Vulkan would improve FPS on a LOT of systems, helping especially the middle end and low end sytem-users.
And I've come to the conclusion that you can easily discern a well-programmed game by the way it's interface handles a high resolution screen (Retina or even 4k/UHD) - design per Pixel is just so outdated, good games scale absolutely well.
Even the not so new-Diablo does perform way better than the nonsense they call UI 2.0.
And finally... pls show some love to the bad mechs, especially if you introduced them recently. Phoenix Hawk and Viper are plain bad, like in, Vindicator-levels of bad. In essence, there's no need to bring a Viper if you own an ACH. The way this game works the ACH is even sturdier than a Viper, so the medium got nothing for it.
Phoenix Hawk is just a bad Cicada/BJ, depending on the reactor used. It COULD bring a tad versatility to the IS-mediums, but without proper quirks, it is always a bad choice.
