I was talking about YouTubers like Kanajashi who are pretty active testing and like it.
You can't say everyone who tested it hates when it isn't true. Just look at the Feedback forum. If you're going to be a vocal majority, you need to try harder. Even ED is winning in the poll of ED vs Ghost Heat.....
Ok, I agree. We're getting a little strung up here. Someone first said this, just with pronouns reversed. It's a stupid statement to say "everyone hates/loves PTS except for the ones testing/not testing" because there's literally no way for any of us here to know unless we have specifically run into that person on the PTS. But this digression is pointless, so moving on to the next part.
My complaint is against the idea of a "vocal" anything, majority/minority because the true majority isn't on the forums, and isn't testing ED. How many times have you seen people complain about queue times though for the 4v4 in PTS? Imagine if it were 12v12 and still only that many people were playing on the live servers. How many threads a day get created about the broken matchmaker, when really it's caused by just nobody playing the game? How many people are on Steam playing MWO right now? 741 is what I'm seeing. That's terrible btw.
My point is this game needs all those silent people who don't visit the forums and advocate one way or another. If people want to pull a don't vote don't ***** card, they'll find their days of being smug might be really short, if everyone else that didn't vote leaves this game.
People probably won't notice or care that much about the inner workings of the system. They will however notice that alphas just changed a little, but they are even more important and better now than before, and "wtf is all this yellow crap on my UI and all these scaling penalties for all new weapon groups? I just learned GH man! Screw this game!" Meanwhile those of us that actually saw, read, and tested for the three goals ED purportedly set out to achieve will scratch our heads and say "Huh none of them were accomplished."

Lol what?
Past games never had an Energy Draw bar. I have been playing since MechWarrior 2, and mechs have definitely been put down even faster in other games. I mean, I have come a hair away from one shotting heavy mechs in MechWarrior 4, that never happens in this game.
Seriously, if you are dying too fast you need to look at how you are playing and play more defensively, take less risks.
Headshots were considerably easier, and there were way more hulking monstrosities like the Fafnir with way stronger, more accurate, and more pinpoint alpha strikes in MW4:Mercs than there are in this game.
