If they introduced new weapon systems with this mech, they would probably get an amazing amount of sales.

Most likely not.

It's been a long time since I didn't buy a mech shortly after its reveal but this time I might pass.

I wish you COULD entice me Gas but at this point my wallet is firmly shut.
ON the other hand I got a refund for No Mans Lie and have a few extra bucks for games this week, but Total War: Warhammer is gonna be the nest on my list.

Did you get the refund past the 2 hour mark? Heard that a lot of people got their game refunded as some sort of special treatment. Tried it myself but got denied. Sad thing that you need more than 2 hours to realize what a mess that game is. Posted Image

IS needs more competetive meds, particularly for FP. Plus the clanners hate seeing IS mechs that look like clan mechs. Posted Image

It's the first bird-like IS medium, so yes, I probably will!
And this not at all buying most of what is out there.

I played 4 hours and 18 minutes but i also didn't enjoy that it ran like sheet. Getting 17FPS and being a hog was the main reason i refunded it. Just didnt run well on my rig i thought, come to find out it was poorly optimized and wasnt my fault at all.

I didn't just say "I dont like it gimme my monies" I showed them that it ran like a terd on a $2000 computer and they agreed it wasnt worth it.

Eh, gonna pass on this one. I was never a fan of the Bushwacker - it always felt too generic and characterless. Never could figure out why people liked it so much.

Assassin, Champion, Guillotine, Thug - now one of those I'd splash for.

I will not.

as for why, with the removal of Karma Koin PGI has made it too difficult for me to spend money on impulse purchases.

It has a good frontal profile. But all models of it are extremely hardpoint anemic.

On one model you can get a GR, 1 LPL, and 1 SRM-4. wooo. Maybe with powerdraw that might not be bad since it will only barely edge past 30 damage. But in the current environment it just doesn't cut it.

I wonder how many junk mechs we will be going through before we finally get to cherry pick mechs that bring something new to MWO?

Wont even be good with ED or PD, You cant really fire a Gauss and laser at the same time, they dont synch well since one uses PPFLD projectile and ones hit scan. Also the ranges are way off for the SRM's to be used with the LPL and Gauss.

Its another bad stock loadout (for this game) on a pretty bad mech. I suggest you all stay away.

That will depend on why PGI deiced they are willing to attempt tackling new weapons and equipment.... At current that doesn't look to be something they are willing to do any time soon.

Never going to happen.

Because with out new tech, there is nothing new to be done. And it should be pretty apparent that they are doing everything in their power to avoid adding any more new tech to MWO. Which is probably for the best since they can't balance what they do have (and couldn't even balance level 1 tech when that was all they had)... why add more fuel to the fire? Because contrary to PBiggz claims the new Tech did not "bring balance to the force" but simple made things even more lopsided, asymmetrical and ushered in even more power creep.

Actual balance didn't happen until the gates for mixtech were fully opened. And by then, the power creep was so egregious the game didn't even resemble battletech anymore.

A confused light and a mining robot? Yes, guilty of forgetting them speaking of bird-like Mechs. ;)

I would agree with you if you just said PGI will not add new tech because that means they will actually have to do something. Honestly thought hey really don't have a choice. Not too many clan mechs left without a time jump and they seem to be perfectly content with making their own variants.

How many different ways can you get to 30 "energy" and actually be effective?

At that point if we do get ED (which we will) "meta" will be what mechs have high mounted hardpoints that allow 30 DMG grouping.

Because it might breath a little life in the variety factor of playing different mechs. Sure it won't be great but at this point it would be the easiest way to get some variety compared to new game modes and fixing the disaster that is faction warfare.
