In a game with little limit on customization, new mech chassis is pointless other than for aesthetic reasons.

So no, I wouldn't be supporting PGI with money until they fix FW and get MWO out of quick play beta.

No early bonuses that would be needed by new players other than the 6.5 million. No bonus mech like the Marauder IIc or 6 million Cbill modules. Decals are nice, new, but don't do much.

We'll see, but MWO's medium mechs are usually pretty bad compared to Lights and heavies.

Isn't it ironic that some of the things that people love the most about MWO are the biggest flaws in the game and cause the most problems? The MechLab gives us too much freedom to customize Mechs which screws with blance and makes many chassis irrelevant because so many chassis can be modified to do the exact same things. Faction Play is built around the mercenary system which gives players the ability to play both Clan and IS and the freedom to move around almost at will. It also ruins faction play because the mercenary units have the power to skew the balance of the mode at will, can all join the same units so they never face one another and can cause one faction to go from irrelevant to the dominant force overnight.

Freedom is nice but freedom without bounds is one of the biggest problems with MWO.

like the mech, but given pgi too much money already, and i have lots of mechs. make a weapons pack and i will pay out the nose for that.

I won't buy it despite how good a job Alex did....He performs miracles but i won't buy it. I'll go even further than that.

Even if Alex made a gorgeous version of the Firebee which is my favorite mech i still would not buy that Firebee.
I refuse to invest a single norwegian kroner more in MWO untill PGI has solved 5 major problems.

1- The overall lack of maps is very troubling. FW maps are completly utterly worthless.

2- Free for all Solaris must be put into the game.

3- No more simple bandaid solutions like Energy Draw and Ghost Heat. There are plenty of more advanced solutions in the PTS feedback section.
I don't care if i have to keep an eye on 4 different bars or not. Too advanced and difficult to keep an eye on so many things you say?
To that i quote the Pirate Captain from that movie...It's only impossible if you stop to think about it.

4- PGI must make something that makes frankenbuilds viable not only for us veterans but also for complete newbies.
In other words....i want to have enemies that fight using more than just 1 button.

5- Fire Paul. He is completly incompetent. I might as well ask Alex to hunt Russ with a javelin while i'm at it.

I know all of this won't happen but that means PGI won't get anymore money from me....not a single øre.
(that's the norwegian version of a cent...but it's worth much less).

But. No. I already have my Bushwacker..*loads up MW4 Mercs* Itll do. At least I can mount an "AC20" on this version and still go 90kph.....just saying.
