4 years of playing and i got 12 maps, [redacted] create more maps.
I'm happy to buy mech packs, i've got 4 mech packs still to be released i've bought but for the love of god make more friggin maps now.
We need more maps now, cosmetic passes and dynamic time of day doesn't do it for me, i want new maps Now! not next year.
PGI if u want more of my money produce more maps for me to use my mechs on.

Maps don't sell.
And mechs do.
That makes mechs a priority.

how about a funding system like a kick starter for new maps and those who contribute can get badges or something and then when target value is achieved everyone gets the new map?

At the end of the day its not the map that matters, but the gameplay that comes with it.

I'm all for the Classic Frozen city coming back. It was quite fun.

They have made new maps... They're locked away in FW/CW.

They have stated that they also have new art assets as well for maps, and, with the introduction of the updated Crimson map, the beginning of damagable terrain.
No, I am not making excuses for PGI, I desperately want more maps as well. Just trying to put things into perspective of what was said and currently given and seen from the map updates.

Isant it funny that one of the excuse for wanting the voting system put in was because of "map diversity" even though my self and others have stated that the vote system would actually make it less diverse.

Tormaline is actually cold, not hot like it's suppose to be. There is a flaw in the code in that map which needs to be fixed.

"Whale ish" Not the biggest, but until early this year I bought almost everything.
I own 234 mech bays and mechs.
Own almost Every Hero mech less a few of the last couple newest heros I refuse to buy.
I will NOTspend another penny on any Mechs or anything 'other' than MC so I can run Premium time every so often until PGI. I want my cbills at +50% .. what can I say...
Makes more maps!!!
$1600 ... $1600 I've spent on this game over 4 years. I am very disappointed in map development.
PGI look at my spending habits. No new maps... no mech packs from me in 2016. No money for you.
No money for you, that's not good. I have money for you, but only if you build some darn MAPS!
I'll spend again big if you build maps.. and quit putting old maps into a rotation of upgrade. Where as it may SEEM like a new map.. I'd raather have the old version and a COMPLETELY NEW MAP....

People don't vote for new frozen city anywhere close as much as they voted the old one, shitpine peaks and polar shitlands are only played during events. The whole "people are only voting for cold maps" is a myth, really. Tourmaline isn't a cold map, people still vote for it. Canyon wins against the ice maps the vast majority of the time, even though it's hotter. People avoid terrible therma because it's a horrid map, freaking bad, utterly terrible, not because it's hot.
Frozen city has gone back in votes even though it's just as cold as it was before. People want to play well designed maps, which MWO severely lacks.

"Well, that was a good run. Now you can look forward to cosmetic upgrades only."
