Hi, I like the color and pattern in the picture of collector pack so much: https://mwomercs.com/marauder

If I buy the collector pack, will the mech's pattern and color be the same as the picture?

U get the patern of the special marauder with collector pack (40dollars) , and the pattern of the hero marauder with hero add-on (15dollars)

I don't think you can switch those patterns to other marauders though, just on the Special version, or hero version.. You can how ever switch them to other camo, and back.


The larger packs, like wave II, III, and origins, and IS resistance 1, II,, those packs all come with camo and colors as well. the camo only works on those mechs, but the colors can work on any..

those colors are kinda pricey too,, so at 500 or 1k MC a pop, when you get 24 or 36 colors, that is a huge value!

To my eyes, that color is "chrome oxide". Mech packs don't often come with colors, you will need to get/buy that color in-game.

You can't put the unique patterns onto other variants of the same mech.

Colors you can do anything you like.

The first 20 unlocks either the Cataphract 3L or the Hell bringer F Loyalty reward mech.

The next money I put into this game will be for a Video Card, Power Supply, and Monitor upgrade.

I'm an ECM nut so that Stalker looks nice...But I'm not buying the Weedwacker just to get it. If that even counts. I think it does.

I'm getting everything except for the Stalker and pffttt the "Ulitmate Reward" ...a couple of cockpit items....If those are worth so much I wish I could sell all of that crap back. I never have and never will put anything in my cockpit.

The Marauder 2. If I had the money, I'd get that just for the ECM one, the mech bays and the banked PT.

I think it is odd that you can buy all of them...or the Collector Pack which is the same thing. I always wonder if buying all of them is the same thing, I think it is. If they want to call something a Collector Pack, I do not know...whatever, lol


Eligible combinations: At least two Collector Packs from any combination of the following: UrbanMech; Marauder; Warhammer; Rifleman; Archer; Phoenix Hawk; Cyclops. This Stalker Loyalty Variant will only be available through the 2016 Top-Tier Inner Sphere Collection Reward program. The Standard version of this Stalker variant will be available for MC and C-Bills at a future date, to be determined.

So if I want the MAD to be the same appearance in the picture, I need to buy addition colors?

My only owned pattern came from the special mech in the steam pack, which seems can be used on other variants. However I know nothing about patterns in packs. Do you mean they are special to a single variant?

I bought a couple of packages that had a "special" etc. The colors were so LOUD I named one "Target". I put camo on it as soon as I could.

I like the color of the MAD special variant so much. I even want to put them on every mech I've got(no so many though), even if the colors would call tons of missiles.

Collector pack is just the unique variant... + the standard pack.
A "collector's model" with a 30% cbill bonus while the model is in use and the original 20 dollar standard pack.

I'd be happier if, like the old special variants, it was guaranteed to have some unique geometry. I'd be fine with and in fact prefer it if the unique geometry pieces weren't repatternable.

Compare the body's curves and limbs of this... (ignoring the fan made paint job)

to this collector edition.


Sadly it is just the pattern.

The Steam special mechs came with a pattern unlock for the chassis (i.e. if Timberwolf, then all Timber Wolves can use it).

The pre order packs such as the Marauder (it was a pre-order when it first appeared), it is a pattern (and looking at my collector's Kodiak... the colors too) are locked as "Default" settings for the specific mech.

The IS reward (Cataphract), any purchase into the listed IS packages (so Resistance 1, 2, Marauder [NOT THE IIC as that is CLAN and gets the Clan reward], Rifleman...etc... which is a minimum of 20) will get you it.

You do get the pattern included in the early adopter rewards even if you buy the standard level pack. Can confirm, I have it for my Phoenix Hawks. It is basically the full unlock on the camo pattern as well for all PHX variants.
