Avatar is 3056 and an Omni though....

I told him a Wasp and Stinger combo, they both look alike that even their Sarna page says it was hard to tell them apart.

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Stinger

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Wasp

It would give the IS some more lights, more reseen/classic/unseen (or whatever they are called now Posted Image ) and they could charge more with so many current timeline variants, as well as making basically two mechs with minor cosmetic differences.

Well there's the road map and it details what's happening. But I do get what you mean. It'd be great to have a hard deadline to say hey on 25th Dec 2016 xmas morning all mechwarriors are gonna get 10new game modes. 50 brand new mechs......and awesome new tech....

Roadmap? Yeah I've discounted that a long time ago. They had a roadmap of what was going to happen to FW/CW/FP 4 years ago? It was a very promising and wonderful Powerpoint but really isn't something you can honestly believe anymore or at a feasible time line. The real issue is the pattern that they have consistently followed in this games development.

Its stuck in a cycle of fixing problems with the game with weird solutions that only cause more problems. Features that are implemented are half developed and there is no consistent test server to serve as a bridge. This coupled with an alienated disenfranchised community makes for a rather toxic forum. For instance, they've already mucked up the heatscale with none of the original penalties, and now are adding non-canon Energy Draw as another mechanic to mess up a partially implemented system. = More mess. But hey lets buy mechpacks.

They need to diversify and spend time re-establishing better relations with the community and thereby its backers. By diversifying I mean work with the community and tap its resources by helping with map development, more products to sell (not just mech packs). What's more have a regular Public Test server running more often.

People don't want mech packs anymore, they want actual deliverable, debugged (at least marginally) content. New tech isn't going to cut it either. Development not constant renovations.

Well my friend. I'm afraid there is no such development in any form of deep content that will be made anytime soon. Even if they do talk about making deep lore content or a more immersive game mode etc etc. I highly doubt anything is gonna happen in that direction.
My wallet has been firmly closed after my kodiak purchase. Even my much loved Bushwacker is not gonna see any existence from me until they come out for cbills.
I have given my time to other games like star conflict. Armored warfare. World of warships. These titles seem to have at least more then death match modes although the same grind with a better accomplishment feeling.
While MWO is stuck on these renovations as you say I've been logging on less and less. I'm sure alot of us are too. Don't get me wrong they're days where I have my urges to play my mechs. But its not my addiction anymore. Use to be a daily thing to log in and play. Now it's just...meh.

And we've all laid out great ideas for this game. Seriously great ideas. But PGI has never taken any to thought. And when they do...they give us things we just don't really want.

Mechs. Well. Mechs are wanted. Ppl keep posting what they want. There's lists and lists of mechs ppl want to see brought to life. Dunno why. They're all gonna play and die nearly all the same.
For me and some others and yourself. We'd like that wanted deep soul content. But we just seem to get 1 mech a month. Resales and hot fixes. This game is really going no where. Sad but true. If anyone can shed light on where this game is going then by all means let us in on this info.
PGI doesn't give us direction of where this game is going. And frankly I don't think they care how we feel and how much this game could be better.
I can understand it takes time to code and work on art and all the programming and all that stuff. Im not even go into all that as i have no clue. But having seen the constant mech releases and rather shallow patch content I can just say it's getting old and stale.

Anyways. Back to world of warships for me. I get a better kick out of that game than I do mwo. Nothing better then hammering other ppl with 400mm shells

Wow I never really payed attention to what the Raptor mounted, but after looking it up, I would actually totally drop money on a mech like that. PGI yes pls

I have a feeling PGI is never going to allow mixed tech. Which is a huge shame because it would be such an interesting twist, and would really make the Raptor stand out.

I agree, considering all the 1s gen IS omnis use XL engines, giving them their clan tech compatibility would be a fair trade for the increased vulnerability. I mostly proposed the Raptor because it could serve as a testbed for trying such a system out.

This should never happen and quite frankly would result in me cancelling all my preorders and walk away from this game. Everybody with half a brain knows that this would lead to IS chassis beeing even more stronger than they are now with their insane quirks. No mixed tech and no IS omnis - heck at this point id rather go back and make the game is vs is /clan vs clan only and is tech pre 3050. No xl engines, pulse lasers, no uac5, no er stuff, no artemis, endo and ferro. Would make for a much better and more enjoyable game.

Javelin. Assassin. Exterminator. Penetrator. Gunslinger. Cerberus. Pillager. Annihilator. Devastator.

Javelin can support either missiles or laser spam

Penetrator seems like another heavy laser bolt, but it has a missile variant with jump jets that im interested in.

exterminator is the IS linebacker. Focusing on speed over anything else.

we need a twin Gauss focused IS mech. So either Pillager with a St Ives variant, or the Cerberus with a Eridani light horse special.

Because people are convinced that whatever mechs mwo makes will be used by hbs, despite the fact the deal was finalized months ago.

They probably have a price per model setup, so if they continue to churn out mechs and HBS wants to use them they probably get more money. If that is the case I wouldn't be surprised to see mech add on prices for HBS games to pay for them, kind of like DLC.

It's not really a next mech, but are there any plans for BA's when you eject? That was awesome in MWLL, if you eject instead before you die, you get to run around fairly inconsequentially and annoy ppl til they splatter you like bugs... good times hehe.

It wouldn't be right to charge MC for the BA suit, but for an arm mounted PPC as opposed to the standard laser... ya that would totally be worth MC, and EVERYONE would buy it!

Pretty sure HBS said it was a stand alone game without any DLC.

Well met. I can barely stand WoWs even after Close Beta. What I love about MWO is that it its not chock full of Russian Bias. At least that will always be constant. No paper made up Russian ships that outrange or 300 foot long ships that disappear in front of you. That part I greatly appreciate about MWO.

I would contact Russ on twitter, but the first time I created an account on there and sent him a polite question about VR he blocked me as a spammer.

How about the Nightstar? With it's epic HP height & DMG spreading ability. (Note my SIG)
