eh, it's just a sausagefest to get everyone's favorite stompy robot mentioned, with no consideration of actual playability. I have too many robots I like in TT just collecting dust in the mechbay already because of that kind of thinking.

It's more about the Mech and the Lore than it is about it being meta. Even trash Mechs can be fun if you let them.

Wasp and/or Stinger are on top of my list, at least one or the other to finish off the old school base.

On the larger side I would love to have the Stone Rhino/Behemoth and the Bane/Kraken.

Inner Sphere Omni mechs would be nice, Avatar and that whole series.

Lastly are the mechs that would require new mechanics like the quads and melee mechs like the Axeman.

I'm not saying that you have to run it according to the Lore, just that "bad" Mechs can be a lot of fun to pilot. Mechs like the UrbanMech, Phoenix Hawk, Kit Fox, Locust, Quickdraw, Victor, Thor, and Zeus can be a blast to pilot depending on how you equip and run them. Basically, it's all dependent on what you expect to get out of the game and the Mechs. Hence, just because a Mech might be a "bad" Mech in terms of hardpoint placement, that's not really a good reason to block it from the game.

That's all I'm saying.

*Note: Some of the Mechs I referenced have become much better post-quirk and post-resize. At one point in time though, they were considered junk. Other Mechs, like the Victor, used to be top-notch but have been nerfed into junk. I think everyone gets the point I am trying to convey though.

Yeah, but the Devastator would actually be a pretty decent Mech. Think of a 100-ton Mauler without those tall shoulders...

It would also make a great Command Mech, and I think that one of the variants had MASC or something similar to it. I need to check.
