I dunno w t f is happening to this game but in the quick play I am constantly getting teams of absolute suck,1 in ten I get a good team.
Why have I been deemed unworthy?No I'm not giving you more money.
I may sacrifice a few slugs and daddy long legs but that's it!

Events tend to bring out the bottom of the barrel in whatever bucket you're playing in, which is one of the reasons why we need to take a break from events.

But with the Night Gyr coming out in 10 days and the certain Night Gyr leaderboards "event", we're not going to see a break anytime soon.

So you think that something to attracts more players to participate in a game that has a population problem is a bad thing?

Get better. I played enough games in MWO to know that usually those who blame the MM in Solo-Q games has only himself to blame. GQ is another beast since MM is basically absent from that mode.

The event is FW only, and OP is complaining about QP. So your comment doesn't make sense in this scenario.

I'm all for bringing in more players, but there needs to be an alternative other than "here's some free stuff" what seems to be every week. People just get the free stuff and leave until the next one.

It does. If 3/4 of QP people are gone to CW for the event the QP matchmaking is going to be even worse.

True, but I referring to his statement that events bring out the scrubs. In this case the scrubs will head over to FW.

This particular scrub is busy learning Planetside2. The grind is insane but the game itself is so much fun and deep and after 4 years they keep pushing new content and new balance change every months. This month has newbies given full unlock of basic things to help them, damnit, 2 weeks after i joined and wasted my Certs lol.

And then where there's a rare weekend with no event the other half of the community grouses because there's nothing going on...

Bandito I have met you before on a few occasions,good player and sometimes in a shite team yolo rush.
Every scrublord i I get in my team.The team that has no chance.1400 ldmg oss,4 kills loss..lubricated.Loss.

Op there are a few things consider
1) big influx of new players ---you need to train them--say stuff like join up first or you will get wrecked over there
2) you have been playing bad (could be new mech or whatever) and you have pushed yourself
Down to the lower tiers
3) buckets-- weekends are notorious for being a bad time to play if your in the wrong bucket that is
Get in the right bucket and weekends are great--you wreck face and can do no wrong

The Tier 1 freaks are telling that all is great and other players are to stupid to play. The Matchmaker can't be the reason. Of course it's not. It is the players the Matchmaker is putting in and that is the reason why it won't run well.
But you are right. The attention span of a Tier one is just 1 in 10, so all games are great.

Matchmaker is working as intended for me and I can't explain it however can provide my Season 3; W/L ratio -> 138/118 = 1.17

Note
The result of my Season 1 and 2 W/L ratio are above 1.00 so, I have nothing to complain but I will not rest until 2.00 has been breached.

My advice to OP is, don't rest until you have become carryTHEhardest pilot in your team.
