But hardpoints of a default variant are lame. Energy-only, no weapons in arms. I hope we will get SDR-5K with ballistic hardpoints.

My one little gripe is that the angle causes the arms to look a little different in length.

We were lacking a dedicated light scout. We've now got our scout.
Also, this was my very first 'mech in the Battletech P&P. Mechwarrior 2nd edition, I rolled up a Spider. I thought for sure it was a terrible design, but quickly learned all of it's benefits.
I'm so glad to see this magnificent FWL/DC Mech. Getting one for sure. Where do I sign?

This may be one of my favorite redesigns, alongside the Cataphract. I always liked the Spider, but it was fugly as all get out.
Certainly fits into the Recon role, if a bit overspecialized for it.
