No? Well, at least people will die in the most good looking ride...

Evil, insidious, tormentors these devs are...a 4th good option to drool over. My uber
-nimble dream mech...and to top it off the flavour text captures an in-game scenario I expect to see happening.
OK, OK, I know. 1st world problems, too many good choices.
On the upside, my mech name for this beast will be easy: some variant of wolf.

But this design is metal!

Ok, so it's not quite a Stinger LAM, but 240m jumps are going to be fun.

- SDR-5V - two Medium Lasers. Jumps 240 meters.
- SDR-5D - The -5D Spider is also geared towards anti-infantry work. This is done by removing one of the Medium Lasers and replacing it with a single arm-mounted Flamer. Jumps 240 meters
- SDR-5K - The -5K Spider removes one of the Medium Lasers and replaces it with two arm mounted Machine Guns for anti-infantry use. To make room for its Machine Gun ammunition the 'Mech sacrifices 60 meters of its jump capability ( 180 meters of jump).
- SDR-7K2 - the -7K2 scout-hunter is built using an Endo Steel structure and Ferro-Fibrous armor. The jump capability is only 210 meters, but it now carries an ER Large Laser.
- SDR-7M - The -7M upgrades the Spider with Star League technology, including upgrading the internal structure to an Endo Steel version and the armor to Ferro-Fibrous. The saved weight is used to upgrade the standard Medium Lasers to Medium Pulse Lasers. Jumps 240 meters.

The idea is that all Mechs jumped in a straight line, but, the Spider's advance jump jets allowed it to to curve its jumps.

The Idea is that some Mechs have a lower access hatch. Mechs also had rope ladders that would be used in the field.

I was really hoping for something more iconic like the Panther.
It looks to have a lot smaller hit profile ( size), and the -5K will be the only light 'mech so far with ballistic hardpoints

It is a light mech that is built around pure mobility over absolutely everything else, so I suppose that's something.
