What are you going on about? You can do this in 4 quick play games a day... if it takes you 6 hours to get 4 kmdds you are doing something... else?

Perhaps there should be a more significant reward for finishing the entire challenge 100% on the final day?

If you are in Australia the event day ends at 10:59 am and the next day starts at 11:00am. (DEST) This is the same time as when all your 2x reset. The missions are great and this is a really good event.It encourages people to play all types of Mechs and allows you to work on your Community warfare drop decks for a bonus.

This. New day starts at 11am for Australians in EST.
Ive literally done the last 6 days events playing from 11am to noon and got all my KMDD from that 1 hour.
Event page updates only every hour & it has never done me wrong.

I get the intention but tbh that sort of would make most of the playerbase feel they were chained to the computer 17 days in a row rather than just having fun and encouraging them to play normally. I sort of want active players not players that feel they HAVE to be there all 17 days. ;)

I agree with you. It's a nice touch, but may bring the wrong message/reaction. They already have the cumulative C-bill bonus: you play all 17 days, you get a nice wad of C-bills. But even if you miss one day, you won't end up with an empty pot.

Apart from the cash the other items don't require you to play every day to get all of them.

And even when I miss a few KMD in a class, I've been getting all 5 in an hour of play.

PPCs or ER PPCs? because if its the former, you shouldn't be shooting them at 50m...

Another couple matches last night where my BLR was the only assault. Starting to be an annoying trend, drop in my PPC boat and get no heavy dakka support :P

Simple, drop the Clan Drop Deck tonnage by a mere 5 tons and they can no longer bring 2. Yes they can bring one, but if you team breaks their line first wave you won't see many more.

Happened last night, we has a mixed Wolf vs CJF drop last night where they had 5-6 KDKs defending, we got creative attacking them and they were much lighter the rest of the game. We did not win, but it was close.

there is no need to 2 kdk-3s. one is already enough for a well coordinated unit. all the other variants are fine as they are but the 3 is not good for this game.

Actually PGI should remove all positive quirks from KDK-3, first. It'll be more sound plan than removing this mech from the game completely (what actually won't gonna happen anyway). More over they can apply some negative quirks as well. And voila - the mech is balanced! Posted Image

That's the problem right there if your side is not as "well coordinated".

Still, half the problem is that people say "OMG KDK3 I IZ SKERRED".

The reason they are prevalent is because they work based on the tactics used against them. Do something different, if you have a well coordinated drop, used tactics to counter the fact that they are still slower than fast heavies and are hard to tuck out of sight.

Open with a light rush, go for legs. You don't have to kill it to make it nearly useless. Turn it into a 100 ton paperweight. You could use it's lack of indirect damage against it and drop a coordinated lurm wave to open complete with taggers and narc'ers. Make them regret putting so much of their drop deck tonnage into 1-2 mechs.

And that's my point, never look at it as wave by wave... perhaps you still lose the first wave, but if you take out several of their 100 tonners they'll be light for the rest of the match.... Think about it. If they bring one KDK 3 then their other 3 mechs will avg 50 tons each...

Hey must be on your way to Mordor if your days are only 6 hours long. They are 24 hour time periods, but again they are not based on your time zone. Mine resets at 1800 hours. Each night I get home from working 12's and take maybe an hour to complete the challenges.

So you know about the timer, and if you're studying a science degree you know about timezones. Also as said before if you can't finish this in six hours you need to reevaluate how you play. As I said above, I figured out when it resets, and jump on just after work. I work 12 hour shifts almost every day and I am 100% so far.

I will say this again: If you are having conflicts with real life and gaming, TAKE REAL LIFE! This is a game.
