at least I can admit even after being obstinate about something that I made a mistake. Which is rare enough, I misread something so I haphazardly posted. Should have taken better care to carefully read the post.

You mean how you were telling me, and how quick you often jump on others when they do the same. Good on you for owning up to it, and much quicker than it has taken in the past. I don't have to push my luck, you are the fountain the keeps providing.

not even close. Besides getting me on words and other stuff like spelling errors I am pretty solid

But even if they did, you'd define it as outside your parameters. There's no smoking gun when it comes to that. Any image shown to someone as proof of their conduct can be spun a different way.

Ideally, an owner should never have any direct control over people in terms of building their roster. I mean, they can have their input, but they shouldn't be managing the team if they have little to no experience in that field. Let the GMs and Coaches do their thing for the most part... and success will come if you hire the right people.

The problem is that Russ is essentially an owner (at least "principle" owner) and is directly involved with everything despite having demonstrated repeatedly that what we're getting in MWO is akin to all past projects that PGI has been involved in.

There's something about managing... and if you're not really experienced in it, you're going to screw up... lots... and royally if you can't stop trying to overmanage things that are relevant or irrelevant.

I believe the term you are looking for is "Jerry Jones". It's also a verb, an adjective, etc.... for essentially the wrong way to be an owner.

I will never give anyone a hard time about spelling errors because I make a lot of them myself. However not understanding or reading word correctly is a big thing as show in this thread, and you getting indignant about it is par for the course when you think you are right someone disagrees with you.

This is what It's really about with me. you ever wonder why most people on the forums don't seem to have that issue with me? you, deathlike, restos, quicksilver,mcgral. are not the only ones I ever bother to post a counter-argument on these forums. What you guys do have in common is taking it personal. Can't help you there.

That is what this is about. People on the internet disagreeing with something they posted. Post are precious and should never be attacked. Attacking a post is like attacking a person.

I keep repeating this before you fail to understand it. You really don't know how forums work on the Internet.

The thing is... attacking a discussion point isn't attacking a person at all. This is key in how debates work (Internets or not). If you fail to see the difference, then having a discussion (forums or no forums) is not for you.
