I'm here for the game itself. I don't care for PGI, I don't care for the BattleTech franchise, but I like the core gameplay, flawed though it may be.

Fair enough I stand corrected.

Looks so much prettier
Better textures, lights and so on

Way better in UE4
Way way better

But then that's hardly surprising

Hope they port MWO at some point too

I hope MWO gets ported, but in the short-term I'll be satisfied if only the sound effects get ported.

PGI had very good poker faces when i talked to them at mechcon.

My thoughts on the rough neck ;)

I agree about the Roughneck ( even though I'm not getting one. I have Catapults and Warhammers, oh my!). The best thing about the game is the art (I LIKE this game and I say that), so I think it's appropriate that they make their own mech for the canon.

I'm not a fan of the Roughneck, I built it in SSW for TT, if you drop the 4 extra SHS on the first variant you can make it a 4/6/4 that generates only 1+ heat/round if firing everything and jumping... it's not that bad... However for MWO, I'm not happy to see a custom mech this early in the life cycle, but I am happy to see that PGI didn't make it OP or UP, just average for it's weight.
