Is it lack of "content", broken balance, what is it? And what is your proposed fix?
Maybe some Dev will read this, maybe not. But actually seeing in a semi organized manner the feelings and thoughts of so many former whales might have some benefit.
Mind you, this is not a "Bash PGI" thread, so rampant Black and White Knighting will get reported, one and the same.
For me? There are a few things, but I think the biggest currently? ADMIT Faction Warfare is a failed venture, like Transverse, and stop pouring time and resources into it. PGI has demonstrated time and again, that either they don't understand what the community wanted out of an immersive Faction Warfare, or are simply unable ot unwilling to invest the resources needed to actualyl deliver it.
That being the case, I'd rather see it taken off life support entirely, and have the time and resources focused on improving the QP mode so that it at least might see some actual growth.
That's my thoughts. Not asking for you to agree or disagree with them. THAT IS NOT THE QUESTION. The question is, what, if anything, can PGI REALISTICALLY do to earn your business back?
i know some will disagrea, but IMO
- i like that somme broke stuff would be fixed, like GH, its so easy to work around that it vexes me i much rader have no system then that one. i do like the principal behind ED, mind you not all changes made during the different PTS sesions made me happy, but atleast i like the principal..
- i would love for some weak weapons to get buffed;
=> MG's, the best suited chassy's for them (lights with 4 ballistic hard points) all get +20% rate of fire quirks... and they still are horible... just buff there damage to 0.1 ... and if nessecery nerf the quirks for them (i doubt that will be the case)
=> SRM2's, they are crap if u compare them with SPL... they need to atleast do more damage/heat then a spl.. again the only reason why a mech would take them is cause it douse not have other hardpoints...
=> AC2's .... to hot for a weapon that needs such a tonnage investment (drop it to 0.6 heat), raze there ammo/t to 200 damage, and ad there frking CD module, why is it still not in the game, on top of this the UAC2's lose DPS on double taps... thats just not acceptable...
=> LRM's all launchers need the same spread... the spread of a LRM10
if all these tings would be implemented i would like it a load, play more, and as a result spend more...
besides from all that, if they would sell a LCT-IIC, i would buy it with reinforsments and hero, the second it became available and temporarely become blind to the other problems
