why?
250 - (20 + 40 + 85) = 105. so you can stick a 100 tonner in your deck and have 5 tons left over.

@LordNothing- sorry for any confusion, but I did not mean in faction play. I just meant a mech that fits the pattern.

But I'm in the Catapult camp. In my opinion, it's the Cicada that doesn't really fit in this lineup.

I'd really like to see Alex's take on these things.
*edit because I forgot that the MWO forums hate links that end with a parenthesis*
*2nd edit to remove the filthy clam mechs that I accidentally included*

The K2 only has 4 energy hardpoints.
They really ought to just give each Catapult 2 more hardpoints. Jagers have 8 hardpoints. Why not Catapults?
It could go like this:
A1: 8 missile (+1 missile each arm)
C1: 6 energy, 2 missile (+1 energy each ST)
C2: 2 energy, 6 missile (+1 missile each arm)
K2: 6 energy, 2 ballistic (+1 energy each ST), or maybe 4 energy, 4 ballistic?
Jester: 8 energy (+1 energy each arm)
Butterbee: 4 energy, 4 missile. (unchanged)

Edit: Stalker didn't have chicken legs until Alex reworked it. I'd expect him to do something similar with the Champion.

True, but the Jester has 6. And the comment was that they even have a 6 energy variant. Not that they are ALL 6 energy variants. So, I figure the K2 still stands as a Chicken Walker Mainly Energy Mech that has Stubby little arms.

Oh, derp.. I missed that detail.
In that case, the only thing that fits the OP's requirements, is a pre-3060 mech and is canon is the Dragon Fire.
It's like a Marauder with ECM.
