Every time you vote it's time to kill? ;)

Wild guess: the OP is making the point that domination reduces TTK by forcing the engagement to start sooner and in a smaller space.

The post is totally wtf weird though.

I'm guessing that cold maps generally do well in map voting and colder maps lead to higher dps which in turn leads to lower ttk?

ok i think its time to clear my statement up.
Map vote:
Many players hate many maps of MWO.
The reason they hate them is simply because these maps are
suboptimal for their loadouts.Their loadouts are mostly short range brawler builds.
So this group only votes for the same 3-4 maps
(HPG Manifold, Canyon Network, Mining facility, Grim Plexus).
Since it is obviously a big group of people these maps mostly get voted.
Now we play mostly this maps that are short range fighting arenas with people
that have the optimal short range loadout > no range but extrem damage outpout
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>LOWERS TIME TO KILL<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Domination:
PGI gave us a game mode that reduces the space where the fight will
be to an extrem small spot, clustering all the players.
(map vote problem again > small range brawler supermacy)
Also its mandatory to reach that spot as fast as you can.
So we have all players clustered together as fast as posible

Thing is if they put the capzone in domination mode in a place easily overseen from long range, the brawlers would hate that mode alot. ERPPCs AC2/5s and lrms for everyone :)

Canyon as a map is pretty okay for long range too, HPG can wok as well, mining is crap for max range builds. terra therma is jut too hot to be enjoyable for the most part. Frozen city went from a brawler mapr to a long range map. River city is usable for any loadout if the enemy plays along. Alpine domination is very nice for Long range stuff so it balances out.
But the constant brawling gets old pretty fast.

Thing is I did understand the Op already a tldr perfect on spot - but well didn't seem to be that obviously.

When ever I see poking snipers after I switch into spectating during a dominion match I loose my countenance. - total stupid tactic

thats why i am in the opinion they shoud give us random match/mode with 1 mech (ala scouting mode) dropdecks.
The time window for map vote shoud be there to chose a mech from your dropdeck fitting for the coming map.
This way all loadouts/maps are viable
