Its not an omnimech.

But yeah, it has a lot of redundancy between models.

I guess it lets you fine tune just how many lasers eat the dirt.

I run Cataphracts and Gargoyles pretty often. My natural affinity for small fence avoidance and my extra-spacial awareness for guesstimating clearances has been honed by many a shot that landed 1000 meters short.

yet when every new mech comes out I see nothing but that mech for many matches still............................................ so maybe the no's are gonna be yes soon afterwards.

I might get it, might not.

Although the SNV-A and SNV-B make some sense in mirroring the SNV-2 and SNV-4, I dislike the another second line clan assault mech. With some extra variants.

the BROILER (aka boiler) seems to be a transgression as the Panther P and Enforcer 4P

Anyhow the name shows, what was used to design this Mech:

At best, I've succumbed to only just buying $7 MC deal. That's it. Mechpacks are not in my interest... period.

I'll just keep this simple in my opinion of MWO going forward..

By the time we get our 1000th variant in MWO, we are very likely to still have zero endgame purpose for all these mechs.

That is how I feel.

My ex wife is in a relationship, but that probably ups your chances for a cheap one nighter. History is never wrong.

Quirks aside, i don't see a reason to buy this mech, ever.

looks good... as usual. Sadly those nice arms won't look that way in the game Posted Image

However, I don't like these made up variants. I'm fine with PGI inventing some when they are in line with the rest; and I do understand that the boiler is a nod to the king crab with pretty much mirroring the loadout.

But given that the only variant with (arm mounted!) ballistics will be the always-cash hero mech, on a mech that was *designed* to not carry any ammo-based weapons and that this will be the best variant from the pack, I really don't like it.

The mech itself won't be OP or anything, it will be a slow highlander that can't jump a car but this is still an issue.

It's almost exactly identical to the Marauder IIC. I was hoping for a 90 ton omnimech, since the clans don't have that yet (even if it was a hardpoint inflated Kingfisher with it's 22 tons of effective podspace). The only one I can even glance at being interesting is the hero.Which, to be quite honest, will run the Highlander IIC-C champion loadout or some variation of dual gauss vomit. Only worse thanks to being heavily one-sided.

I think I'll pass.

Pros: Looks good, i have nostalgia for this mech.

Cons: Low engine cap, most variants reliant on low mounted arms, interesting variants (C and Hero) locked behind extra paywalls. Likely completely obsoleted by the MAD-IIC before its even released.

Definitely not pre-ordering. Wont even buy for CBills unless the energy ports on the C/Hero are very high mounted.

No, but my point is that paying the basic $20 will only get you **** variants, where both the variants with potential will cost an extra $15 each. (Compare to the Kodiak, where the basic $20 got you the obvious best variant)

Not telling anyone else not to buy it, simply stating that i wont myself.

Nope.

First, it's a Clan Mech.

Second, I feel we are getting less and less value for our bucks.

Third, no Light since ages.

Fourth, boring gamemodes and no new content.

Fifth, dead Faction Play instead of a universe full of cool battlefields with all sorts of warmachines.

Who over fed the Ebon Jaguar and why are they calling it a Super Nova? In any case, someone needs to put it on a diet.

This is starting to take the piss. When was the last new (not revamped) map? Game mode? Content update? Skill tree update?
