Greetings MechWarriors,

We will be rolling out a hot-fix, currently scheduled for Thursday, October 20th at 3:00 PM PDT (10 PM UTC), with the following changes:

• Terra Therma: Fixed an issue where the DropShip SFX could loop through the match.

• Blackjack BJ-2 [L]: Fixed an issue where the RT had two more Armor Points than the LT.
• Cataphract CTF-3L [L]: Fixed an issue where the LA Hand Actuator was not visible on the model.
• Cataphract CTF-3L [L]: Fixed an issue where the Head component was provided with a Missile hardpoint it was not supposed to have.
• Hellbringer HBR-F [L]: Fixed an issue where the Set of 8 XP Bonus was not present.
• Hellbringer HBR-F [L]: Fixed an issue where Lower Arm Actuators were not present.
Night Gyr: Fixed an issue where the NTG-A, NTG-C, and NTG-JK had two more Armor Points available in certain components than they should have.
Summoner SMN-M [L]: Fixed an issue where the ER PPC Cooldown Quirk was listed as +0.5% instead +5%.

• Air/Artillery Strike: Fixed an issue where issuing an Air or Artillery Strike would cause a Cooldown bar to appear in the Consumable icon HUD.
• Cockpit Item Screen: Fixed an issue where Items that have been purchased and equipped were no longer listed if filtering by Owned.
• Cockpit Item Screen: Fixed an issue where Items that have been purchased and equipped were no longer listed as Equipped on other 'Mech(s).
• MechLab: Fixed an issue where viewing a 'Mech Loadout from within the in-game Store would cause component windows to overlap slightly.
• MechLab: Fixed an issue where viewing an OmniMech Loadout from within the in-game Store would not list the OmniPod tab in the Warehouse.
• MechLab: Fixed an issue where issuing the Reset 'Mech command when viewing a 'Mech Loadout from within the in-game Store would cause the Loadout to break.
• Select 'Mech: Fixed an issue where the 'Mech could either not be visible, or only partially visible, in the 'Mech Portrait after making a customization change.

Patch Files (Direct Download)

This direct patch download process will only work for players running the standalone client. It does not apply to players running MWO through Steam.

How to use these patch files

• Download the above file(s)
• For sake of ease we recommend creating a dedicated folder for the patch file(s), such as 'MWO Patch Cache'
• You do not need to unzip or unpack the patch file(s)
• Launch the standard MWO launcher
• Click the gear icon in the top right of the launcher window
• Choose the 'Specify Patch File Cache' option
• In the field that appears, paste or enter the location in which you saved the patch file(s) and hit OK
• For example, C:\Users\<username>\Documents\MWO Patch Cache
• Click the blue Patch button
• The launcher will now check the Patch Cache folder you defined. If it locates the required patch files, it will unpack and use those files to apply the patch.
• Once the patch is complete, launch the game!

Greetings MechWarriors,

• Terra Therma: Fixed an issue where the DropShip SFX could loop through the match.

It happens in more than just terra therma. I've heard it on the bog, river city, frozen city, crimsom tide, etc.

The beep on therma is annoying, but i can live with it.
  • "Cockpit Item Screen: Fixed an issue where Items that have been purchased and equipped were no longer listed as Equipped on other 'Mech(s)."
Any chance that you would consider adding this as a filter in future, as i really liked only being able to see equipable items. If it's not listed its equiped and you have to jump out of your mech anyway to go get it. I personally find this a superior experience.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for fixing that annoying dropship klaxon alarm on Terra Therma. Made me feel like there was some kind of urgency and I had to finish the fight quickly before my Mech melted.

Keep in mind, if we didn't get that much-needed HotFix, then we would be dealing with a freakishly broken game. :(

Strange... I haven't heard it go on for a while on those maps... Let's hope that the HotFix repairs the issues?

Excuse my curiosity, but what kind of Internet Connection do you have?

To each their different view point... However, what was happening here was potentially causing data loss. Please refer to the Bug Report thread @ http://mwomercs.com/forums/topic/238449-owned-cockpit-item-bug-list-of-owned-items-does-not-remain-fully-visible/ about this issue. You'll see why it had to be fixed quickly.

You're nerfing the Cataphract already?
Come on guys, it's not THAT good.

I would suggest you simply... Exchanged the head missile hardpoint for another left arm-mounted energy hardpoint Posted Image

Yeh, but the scat can has more than one single 1crit missile hardpoint, same with the shadowhawk. The only mechs with a single M point are the hopper and afaik the 4X cataphract. Posted Image

Nice to see you fixed that, noticed most of the mentioned bugs myself too!

However that makes me think: don't you have a test environment where you install your patches and test it?
I did not need more then a hour to notice most of that stuff.
Maybe you should not announce updates before doing a test run, or is it intended that we are the testers?
That is a common template that 1-2 days after patch a hotfix is installed...
