[Excessive Paranoia]

First off, this post is mostly made in the hopes that someone from PGI sees it and maybe decides to do something about it, so I'm not really expecting any sort of response from the community.

With that out of the way, I'm primarily a light pilot, dropping in that weight class between 80%-95% of the time depending on the day. Sadly, this class has been severely under served when it comes to new mech options being released as monthly packs which has led me to buy several heavy and medium packs that I enjoy, but only rarely play. As such, I can no longer justify spending real money on mechs that fall outside of my primary weight class, so going forward, I will happily offer up my hard earned cash, but only for light mech packs. I hope this message doesn't fall on deaf ears and I'm looking forward to seeing more light mech options in the future.

Dear PGI, I'm Happy To Give You My Money But Only For A Light Mech Pack CW Mode That Is Immersive, Engaging And Actually Makes Sense To be A Loyalist, And Has Real Role Warfare So That I Would Have Motivation To Buy A Light Mech Pack Down The Road.

I won't say FTFY, because we all have our axes to grind. Light mechs would be great, but I think a reason to have them in the game would be better.

Too bad it's only got one layout that's 'PGI Legal.' Though I suppose the Piranha 2 is easily fixed by swapping out Heavies for ERs.

Lore doesn't matter here. They made up Orion IIC variants as well as all the other IICs. so it can be a product.

It's inevitable. You can't ask for a mech, or even ask what mech everyone else wants, without the 'Fix the Game' brigade running rampant.

I understand the reason, and even sympathize with it, but... yah. The derails get kind of annoying.

My current concern with light mechs - due to all the power creep - probably makes them difficult to add more. And I suspect PGI has realized this considering not adding a light for how long ?

I'd seriously buy all those in an ultra light mech collectors pack. As another light pilot we really need more lights. I really don't care if it is clan,is or a combo back of both al la steam's light pack(which is over priced in my opinion.) Last light mech I paid real money for was the 2c jenner. I'd like a wasp/stinger pack if i had choice depending on how much of the robotech macross look they could retain and they had an alt mode.

Will be buying just about any Light mech. Totally on the same page with OP. I have got most of this years offerings and all the loyalty mechs but my heart is crying out for a light.

How is it difficult to add lights because of power creep, but not mediums, heavies, or assaults? The probable reality is that they haven't added lights because light pilots represent a smaller percentage of the population and so they expect to sell fewer packs.
