I'd love to see those 'mechs but if they don't change the construction rules for IS omnis a lot of them are gonna be stuck with single heat sinks which is... just awful...

the Owens seems like the only defunked Geo, the other two seem fairly well for the year and age they were drawn.

Shouldn't quadrupeds be 150ish tons and be multi player to make sense though? I hope they get added to but AT-AT size.

I'd actually buy the Sunder but the Strider & Owens would be some of the absolute worst mechs with locked SHS & in locked std engine.

Pgi isn't going to release such horrible mechs because they won't sell well nor do they have much, if any, nostalgic value.

Actually all three of those 'mechs have MW3 nostalgia for me. But PGI is going to have to rethink construction rules for IS omnis or perhaps just omnis in general because IS omnis with locked SHS are just not going to be any good. Maybe unlock heat sinks for IS omnis and allow them to switch between XL and STD engine but not change their engine rating?

Aren't we getting the Linebacker soon? If that thing gets a release, then I don't see why the Sunder (MW3, MW4), Owens (MW3, MW4) and Strider (MW3, MW4:MekPak) couldn't get some nostalgia love.

Imo, among all the IS omnimech, only the Sunder is good.

Haha true although ppl asked for the Linebacker despite being warned of it's junky quality.

I'd totally be on board for the Sunder whose biggest problem is how badly exposed it's STs might be with an XL & arms that don't cover. Maybe if they get clever (or lazy with structure quirks) they can have the arms help somewhat.

The Raptor is the first IS omni and it's actually decent.

Sunder probably is best, nostalgia and mech wise, particularly under MWO's mechlab. But I'll take anything if it's got some flavor. And I think the Owens has flavor.

The Strider... not as much I guess.

Well all this talk of Omni's is good but honestly I seriously doubt the upcoming IS mech will be an omni.

Of course it wont be. The Bushwacker can't even get an LB 20-X, it would be insane to actually entertain the notion that IS omnimechs are coming out. Like I said earlier, imagine what the least anticipated IS mech is, and that's probably it right there.

I have theory crafted... it actually isn't that great. 36 tons, and would likely go big ballistic and lasers based on the hardpoints. So thats enough for Gauss and 3 LL if you strip armor, which isn't too exciting, really needs endo steel.
