Title says it, since the single Mech Packs were released, what Mechs you get most hyped for in the past?

Me, Kodiak brought me back to the game once I saw the artwork one evening on Facebook.

It was the Cyclops for me, mainly just the looks but was nice that it was a good mech.

The Archer, because I was expecting some pretty sweet LRM 20 quirks to make its lore builds viable. I was very, very disappointed.

Obviously none and still waiting on that mech that's on the cusp was supposed to be after a "few" mechs after the Kodiak (the one who stole its place.)

The Phoenix Pack, not to be confused with the Phoenix Hawk. Those were exciting times for me and the game was promising. The mech all looked cool as ****. I could never afford a heavy or assault back then and i only owned HBK and Ravens at that time. That was my first Battlemech purchase. One of each class so i would not need to buy more mech after that AH!

Kodiak, because it was obvious to everyone (except apparently PGI) that the ballistic variant would be as OP as hell.

But prior to that: probably the Warhammer. Again I was looking forward to the Black Widow, which didn't disappoint.

I wait a week and see if it is "cewl BT hype" or has in game punch. This has really paid of with the new $20 packs. I never pre-ordered the bigger sets, but I have been buying about every third to fourth pack in the lunch menu.

I learned in other games that balance will pretty much kill any "lore" expectations I may have while taking my money in the process. Yes I am waiting for the Xmas SWTOR expansion pack, but at least I can just play the single player PVE and call it good.

Phoenix Hawk for me.

Apart from that, Warhammer/Marauder/Rifleman/Archer. I didn't even buy any of them, but it was simply wonderful to see the classics back in the game.
